Chapter 8: Harry Styles

"NO!" Zayn screamed at the top of his lungs. He stood up and threw his chair on the floor.

"he can't be!" he repeated and threw more chairs on the floor

" Mr. Malik, please you need to leave" the doctor said calmly walking over to Zayn

"Get away from me!" he yelled and pushed the doctor onto the floor and ran out of the hospital

" I'm so sorry" I said to the doctor and followed Zayn outside

"Zayn!" I yell as I see him open the door to his car and get in

"I need to be alone, please Anna" he said as tear streamed down his face

" I'm so sorry Zayn" I said also crying. I expected him to say something else but he just drove off and left me standing there on the footpath.

"Niall just died" is all I repeated to myself as I walked home

"NIALL JUST F*CKING DIED IN THAT HOSPITAL AND WE LEFT HIM THERE!" I screamed falling to my knees. Everyone was looking at me but I didn't care.

***at home***

I returned to my house and everyone was eating dinner.

"Anna come and have dinner" my dad asked smiling. I just ignored him and kept walking to my room where I locked myself in and cried until I fell asleep.

I woke up to a tapping on my window.

I checked the time; 4:29 am

I got out of bed warily and grabbed my lamp and walked carefully to the window.

I looked out and nearly screamed at the sight of who was outside my window.

it was the murder. I ran and hid under my bed. But he already saw me.

"Anna" he called quietly

"Please I wont hurt you I promise" he pleaded

"how can I trust you, you killed my friend!" I told him

" just hear me out please!" he begged

"fine but stay outside the window" I said almost regretting what I said immediately

" please just let me in I swear it's important and it's about Niall" he asked

"Oo..ok"

I quietly walked out if my room and over to the front door. I carefully opened it and he walked in. I was terrified. There was a murderer in my house.

"Listen" he started "Nialls not dead" he said his green eyes burning into mine. I couldn't believe what he just said.

"But how? He was there in the hospital, you killed him, the doctor told us he died"

"Niall is under witness protection, his dad works in the CIA and we had to keep him and his family undercover" he said very low so only I could hear him

"You cannot tell anyone! YOU HEAR ME?!" He said louder and it scared me

"Ok" I said quietly

" I wasn't meant to tell any one, but I just couldn't stand seeing you upset I'm so sorry" he said blushing and looking away

" it's ok but can I tell Zayn?! I haven't seen him since the hospital and he was really upset, he could do something stupid?" I started worrying about Zayn, where was he?

" yes but not now, Niall went on a flight to Portugal after you and Zayn left and we have to find him so you, me, Zayn, your other two friends, Liam and louis must find him soon" "tomorrow we leave"

"WHAT?! What about my family??" I started crying. I don't even know these people

"Calm down it'll be ok" he said reassuringly rubbing my shoulder

"What's your name? And who's Liam and Louis?" I asked

"My name is Harry Styles and Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson are also helping with this mission" he stated

"We leave tomorrow and you can't tell any of your family"

"Fine, how long will we be gone?"

"Maybe 2-3 months" Harry said

"Ok" I replied

" can I stay at your house just for tonight? I have nowhere to sleep? Please?" Harry asked with a big grin on his face and his dimples showing

"Ok but you have sleep on the floor in my room" I giggled and we went to my room and we both fell sleep
