So in Old Who, the Doctor meets himself several times. I'll let that one pass because most of those were orchestrated by the Time Lords.
Then in Father's Day, the Reapers pop up and now you can't meet yourself or else bad stuff happens.
And then characters start meeting themselves all over the place.
Rory sees himself die. Amy meets little Amelia. I think River even meets little Melody.
And future Amy and Rory (which can't even be there anymore because their future is in New York) go to a spot where they can see past selfs.
No Reapers. No paradoxes. Except Rory disappearing because he was erased from time and space.
But overall, no problems whatever.
