"Oh my god, Colby are you nuts? I can't wear this into the ocean!" Jamie exclaimed coming out of the changing room.
"Why not?" I asked, confused. Let's just say that when she walked back out onto the beach in nothing but a black bikini, my jaw hit the floor. Her body was mind blowing and that was the best I could describe it.
"This is a special edition Molly Tray bikini, these things cost almost two-hundred dollars," she said looking down at herself. She kept shifting on her feet, clearly nervous.
"What's wrong?" as I walked towards her my eyes slowly scanned her body, she probably could tell I was checking her out since I made no effort to hide it.
My eyes met hers and she sighed. "It's just that I've never worn anything this expensive before and what if I ruin it?"
"Don't worry about that, lets just go have fun and surf until our skin looks like raisins," I joked, she smiled brightly at me and skipped over. Taking her hand in mine again I led her to the back-shack where Remy had our boards ready.
"Alright dudes-" Remy began before Jamie gave him a stern look "and dudette," he added, returning Jamie's pointed look.
"Let's get started. First we'll paddle out, then let the fun begin" he winked.
>2 Hours Later<
It was already one of my best days ever. After surfing for almost an hour Jamie and I decided that we were both starving. After eating whatever I could find in the house we started walking down the beach.
"Ew! Colby, don't touch it!" Jamie screamed and swatted my hand away from the giant web of silk worms. I gave her my signature smirk, took a couple of the small caterpillar like bugs and placed them on the back of my hand.
"See? They're harmless," I showed her the four silk worms lazily crawling along the back of my hand and her nose scrunched up in disgust before slowly reaching out and taking one from me.
"Oh my god, this thing tickles-" she said happily and I laughed. "What are they called again?"
"They're called silk worms," I explained.
"Shouldn't they be called silk caterpillars? I mean they have legs and worms don't," she joked. As she took more of the fury little silk worms, I couldn't help but think that none of the other girls I've ever been out with would ever touch a bug in a million years. But Jamie would.
"Come on, I have something I'd like to show you," I grinned and reached my arm out to help her up. She took my hand and shook off the silk worms before bounding up and brushing herself off.
I led her down the trail to one of my secret spots I liked going to while I was at the beach house and she soaked in every ounce of scenery along the way.
"Umm, Colby are you sure we're not lost? We've been walking for almost 20 minutes," she asked worriedly. I just smiled at her and kept going knowing that we were almost there.
Then the path slowly faded and we came to the edge of a small cliff overlooking a pond with a small maintenance shack about 200 feet away. It wasn't even really a cliff, just more of an overhang of about 20 feet.
She gasped at the sight before her and her eyes shined with curiosity and wonder. She let go of my hand and ran right to the slope I made to get down years ago. She ran down and I followed closely behind her, her brown hair flowing behind her beautifully.
"Colby this is beautiful, how did you find this place?" she asked in amazement.
"When we first moved here ,4 years ago, my dad and I got in a fight, I needed to blow off some steam so I just kept walking and walking not caring if I got lost... Then I found this place and just stayed here for a while until I was ready to go back. Turned out I was gone a whole 7 hours and I didn't even know."
