Sora-chan x
"Stop it, stop it, please!!"
I was helpless as the energy-made dragons crashed into Gaara, and started to pull the demon from his body. He let out a low groan of pain, and that sound ripped through me like a blade. My struggles grew weaker as Zetsu's plant things sapped my chakra.
I bit my lip to stop my sobs, but the tears still ran down my cheeks. Then, the last eye opened, and Gaara fell.
"Gaara!" My mind refused to believe he was gone, but I knew he was.
I struggled harder in my bindings, as the images of the Akatsuki members slowly faded, and the statue receded into the earth. I didn't notice the footsteps coming toward me.
"Why do you care about him so much, un?" I glared up at Deidara, struggling harder.
"Get away from me! You bastard! Don't even talk to me!" I shouted angrily, my voice breaking.
"That's mean, Fluffy-chan," he sneered slightly, and I growled at the old nickname, "I thought we were friends, un."
"Friends?! You're a criminal!" I yelled. "Now let me go! Asshole!!"
"That hurt, un." Deidara put on a look of mock hurt, and I struggled more.
"I don't care!!" I hated how my voice kept cracking. How could he do this to me? I thought he cared. I thought they all cared. I thought of them as family!
"Then you won't care if I use your little boyfriend as a chair then, un?" he smirked and sat on Gaara.
"Get off of him!!" I screeched, my vision blurring and spotting as the plants responded to my struggles, absorbing more of my chakra.
"Do you know why we brought you here in the first place, un?" I froze, and blinked.
"what?" I whispered.
"Deidara..." Sasori warned. He was ignored.
"We thought you were the nine tails. You see, the real jinchuriki was taken by one of the fourth's team of brats, and so we thought you were the one, that the fourth must of only had one kid, un. But the only reason we didn't find out sooner is because that jerk Itachi decided to protect you. Otherwise you would of been dead a long time ago, un." my eyes widened. They were going to... kill me?
But I'd felt so safe there. But in truth, I'd been most in danger there than anywhere else?
My heart seemed to grow cold with sadness. My entire past... was a lie? All the laughs, the fun, the happiness, those were just pretend?
And Itachi, he... protected me?
"No! You're lying! You're lying, so shut up!" I yelled, pulling harder against my bindings.
"I'm telling the truth. Though a lot of us did enjoy having you around, if you had really been a jinchuriki it would have been extracted around the time of when Itachi and Kisame left you in the Land of waves, un."
"Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP!" I yelled, and Deidara smirked. But before he could say anything else, there was a loud crash and the boulder that sealed the entrance crumbled.
"Nee-chan!" my glare stayed focused on Deidara as someone cut the ties around my wrists and ankles, and then helped me over to where a red eyed Naruto was glaring at Deidara, who was still seated on Gaara.
"You bastards! How dare you do that to Gaara!" Naruto's voice cracked, and Kakashi quickly used one hand to stop Naruto. The other still held onto me; he was my sensei for quite a while, so he knew I could be just as hotheaded as my brother.
He didn't, however, anticipate my strength, the result of training under Tsunade. And that was bad, for what would happen next.
"Gaara! Wake up! Come on, don't let him treat you this way! Do something!" Naruto yelled, and Deidara smirked.
"It's useless. He's dead, has been for a while now. See?" Deidara hit Gaara's cheek, and I let out a wordless cry of pure rage, running forward, and pulling straight out of Kakashi's grasp. I launched myself at Deidara, but the silver tail of Sasori's Hiruko puppet got in the way, coming for me. I managed to dodge just in time, but as I was recovering my balance it swung round and hit me into a wall. I coughed blood, but managed to stay standing. I went for Deidara again, only for Sasori to intercept, and Deidara made another bird out of clay while Sasori held me off.
I watched in horror as the giant bird pulled Gaara into it's mouth, flying out of the cave.
"Hey! Where the hell do you think you're going, Deidara?!" I yelled, somehow dodging around Sasori and making chase. I picked up speed, so I was almost directly under him as I ran, and I sensed Kakashi and Naruto following. I saw the space around Deidara distorting, and I didn't know what it was, but the more sadistic side of me liked it, as it severed Deidara's arm. He deserved it.
Deidara swerved off into a foresty area, and I heard an explosion, but did not stop. Then, out of the blue, Deidara reappeared, and a load of clay caterpillars (which he must of made beforehand, as he had no arms) wer crawling up my legs and bound me to a tree. I had foolishly followed him right into his trap.
Then Naruto and Kakashi caught up, and I knew immediately that Kakashi had overused his sharingan, as Naruto made eight clones: one to support Kakashi, two to get me free, and the others to fight Deidara with him.
They met in battle, and Naruto managed to sever the clay bird's head. I ignored my vision fuzzing and leapt over to help the clones catch it, while Naruto still fought Deidara. I didn't even notice Naruto's inhuman chakra seeping out. All I knew was that the man I loved was in this thing, and I had to get him out.
I scratched away at it, not daring to punch through it using chakra in case I hurt him. Eventually we broke through, and I felt like I was going to throw up when the clay stopped masking him. He had no pulse. He was truly gone.
With fresh tears falling, I pulled him out of the casket, ignoring the clones as they bent over in pain, and disappeared as Naruto grew a third tail. I just pulled Gaara's corpse to me, sitting down on the branch and gently pulling my fingers through his hair, missing the shivers he used to give when I did that. I must of looked like a crazy person.
Silent sobs shook my body as I did this, and my hands started to glow green with healing chakra, forcing it into his lifeless body, until I passed out.
Hahahahahahahaha cliffhangerish.
Hope its not too dramatic... but hey, we all need a little drama sometimes! Plus, I admit I did cry when Gaara died in the anime, even though I knew he was gonna be brought back to life (because of spoilers, rrr), but I have no life, as you can tell from how often I update. But then, it is the summer hols, so I don't have any homework. When school starts again, I'm not going to be able to update so often, so make the most of it, coz Imma have GCSE's and coursework!
Well, anyway, fan, vote, comment!
I'm getting tired of saying this, but:
FEEDBACK IS WANTED!!!
IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO DO!!! JUST COMMENT IN THE LITTLE BOX UNDER THIS!!! JEESH!!!
Well, anyway, until next time!
SayOnARa!!
Hehee funny writing :3
