Lark stood on the edge of the sharp, obsidian rock. She narrowed her eyes. Her boots thudded as she jumped off. It was a den of wolves. The white wolves to be exact. The cave smelled frosty and large shards of ice covered the entrance. She growled. Fox had taken off with Arianell, so, She was on her own. Surprisingly, the cave was full of life, dozens of men and women, and children, all with pure white hair and clear skin were sitting around a massive fire, staring at her. Lark came to the front. "Hello, My name is Lark of the WaterBird tribe, heir to the throne of the Falcons. I am traveling with Prince Fox of The FoxValley tribe, heir to the throne of the Foxes." She explained. A boy, her age stood up out of his seat, he had cut hair like fox, except his hair was pure white and he wore winter clothes of pure white fur and black leather boots, and a vest with frost patterns. The boy, surprisingly took Lark's hand and daintily kissed it. "My name is Prince ClawFrost of the WinterBane tribe, heir to the throne of the Winter Wolves." He said smiling. Lark was immediately surprised he had missed her hand. "Might I ask, what is a princess doing out here? You belong in your tribe?" He said. "Yes, well, we are out looking for the kingdom cave. I am going to see if I can make a wish to be queen of WaterBird, my stepsister has taken over the throne. You see, I'm a shifter Royal, I can shift into a Falcon, that is considered odd and not acceptable in my tribe." She said. ClawFrost looked at her with understanding blue eyes. "I wish you luck, and, don't mind Arianell, she is my sister. She tends to flirt with newcomers. And, is that Prince Fox, your husband?" He asked. "No..no...we are just friends." She said nervously. He smiled. "Come, you can meet the others later, let me show you to your room." He said, guiding her around the hall. They eventually got to her room. "This is where honored guests stay. Oh, would you like to share a room with Prince Fox, or Separate?" He asked with his eyebrow raised. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind..." Lark said under her breath. "What?" ClawFrost asked. "No. We will have separate rooms." She said quickly as she walked into her room. Lark's room was beautiful. A blue tinted, crystal chandelier was hanging from the ceiling. A large, blue canopy bed covered almost the entire room. Tapestries with Giant wolves covered the stone walls, and a giant fireplace with white stone was on the wall. Lark laid down, wondering where Fox was.
