Sorry if you don't agree with my idea of how she gets this emotion. I'm not good with this emotion myself.

Mouse's P.O.V.

I see Shadow laughing at me and feel even more miserable. Currently I'm hanging upside down by my ankle. I was climbing a tree, lost my footing, and got stuck like this. He said he'd help me, when it happened. So far all he's done is laugh, and saying 'I told you not to climb the tree' and so what if he did. How was I supposed to know this would happen.

"Shadow hurry up and help me down. Please!" I say once again.

"Give me a minute, think of it as your punishment for not listening to what I say." he says laughing all over again. I roll my eyes at him. It probably looked weird to him from this angel, if he noticed.

I spot someone walking this way and it seems troubles on the way. I can feel my already red cheeks burn telling me my blush redden. Alexander Gray also known as Shadows rival and my classmates. I know I should dislike him, but it's hard to because everyone at school likes him. They think he's cool, he's only been here two weeks at that. I don't think he knows i'm here. He's glaring at Shadow as he makes his way over to him.

"Could you keep it down, i'm trying to train. Not that you ever have, and I would like to do so in peace." Alexander says to Shadow. They are already glaring at each other. If looks could kill they'd both be dead.

"I don't care if it interrupts your training, maybe if you minded your own business it wouldn't be interrupting you- oh, I get it you have a hard time focusing." Shadow says. They are arguing know. That's great i'll never get down at this rate, which means time to intervene.

"Hey, you're both sorry so hug and make up and get me down!" I yell down at them. Both of there heads snap up and in seconds they're both laughing at me. I feel the burn of embarrassment once again. Which makes them laugh harder. I hate this day.

"I'll get you down just wait a moment" Alexander says and starts climbing the tree. He gained control over his laughing fit quickly unlike Shadow. Shadow doesn't even notice Alexander is helping me. He puts his arm around my back and reaches for where my ankle is stuck. when my ankle comes loose I close my eyes thinking I'm going to fall, but realize Alexander's holding me. I feel my face gets warm and I quickly gain my own footing.

"Thank you Alexander."

"Your welcome, how did you end up like that?" He asks as we climb down. When we reach the ground Shadows stopped laughing and is glaring at Alexander. Of course when Alexander see's this and returns the gesture. I quickly explain that I climbed the tree, lost my footing, and they saw the end affect.

"Well it seems the Nightingale wasn't of much use. Seeing I had to help you in the end. Just another reason Gray's are better." Shadows last name is Nightingale. Alexander is trying to start a fight it seems. Shadow pulls me toward him.

"I think I should give you a ride home." Shadow says still glaring at Alexander neither breaking eye contact. Alexander quickly pulls me to him. I end up with my back against his chest, turning me red again.

"I should take her home. We're classmates and your a stranger to her aren't you. I mean you don't go to school with us. So how else would you have met if not at school?" He's quick to suspicion and is thinking of something. Shadow has a look of defeat. He doesn't want Alexander to know about my family, so he almost has no choice.

"You're right, we've only run into each other a few times. Your names Mouse right? Well be careful Grays are no good, don't let your guard down." he says this as he walks away. Looking up at Alexander he has a look of triumph. Why am I in the middle of this now. As if noticing me looking up he looks down at me. His eyes are a really pretty blue. I feel my face burn and realize i'm blushing and staring, so i look away. Alexander hasn't let go yet.
