When Demi felt Nick's lips on hers she got butterfiles in her stomach which caused her not to pull away - she liked the feeling too much, but then she kept hearing Selena'a voice in her head
Trust me, he has his ways.
Demi finally pulled away avoiding eye contact. ''Um, I think I should go home now.''
Nick was confused because she seemed like she enjoyed the kiss, but nodded his head anyways. ''Okay.''
The ride to Demi's house was silent. She was looking out of the window replaying the kiss in her head and Nick was trying to figure out what she was thinking.
''Soo.'' Nick said breaking the quiteness. ''You should come and support the football team tomorrow.''.
Demi looked at him and smirked. ''Is that an invation?'' She asked
He looked meeting her eyes. ''I don't know - do you want it to be?'' He said hopeful as they reached her house.
She sightly smiled. ''Maybe.'' She turned to look at her house then back to look at Nick. ''Thanks for today.'' She got out of the car quickly and ran into the house. Once she shut the door and let out a small scream while touching her lips.
''Ouch!'' Joe yelled while covering his ears. ''Why did you just scream?''
She quickly nodded her head. ''No reason.''
''I know that look.'' He snapped his fingers in front of her face. ''That's a boy look! You have a crush!''
''That's silly.''
''Is it? Is it really?'' Demi rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. ''Look I don't care about any boy you like, as long as it's not Nick.''
''And why not Nick?'' Demi asked.
''Because he's my bestfriend and I know what he does to girls, so stay away from him. I don't want you getting hurt.''
She put her and over her heart. ''Does that mean?'' She faked gasp. ''Joe, does that mean you care about me?!''
''No!'' But Demi only looked at him knowing it was a lie. ''Fine.'' He admitted. ''But if you tell anyone I'll deny it.'' He said as he made his way upstairs.

''Hey Demi.'' Selena said.
''Hey.'' She said back while closing her locker.
''I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight.''
''Actually I wanted to know if you would go to the football game with me.''
''Demi!'' She whined. ''I don't want to!''
''Come on please.'' She begged. ''After the football game there's a party at my house since my mom isn't home and I'll introduce you to Joe.''
''Fine, but you have to come over my house, so we can pick out outfits for eachother.''
Demi smiled as they shook hands. ''Deal.''

It was the first round of playoffs and they where losing by five. ''You think they'll win?'' Demi asked Selena.
''I don't know.''
Demi nodded and turned her attention back to the game.
''Hike!'' Nick yelled. He ran alittle back and was looking to throw the ball to someone, but no one was open. Just then he looked to his right and before he knew it he got sacked by a big white dude. He punched the floor disappointed in himself cause that was the 4th down. Nick went to the sidelines and said good luck to defense, he glanced at the clock and saw that there was six minutes left. ''Nick!'' He heard and turned around to the voice and saw Demi.
''What are you doing here?''
''That doesn't matter. What are you doing? Why aren't you kicking ass?''
''I don't know if I can do it.'' He admitted. ''There defense is too good.''
''Well, guess what Nick - you're better. Now come on I believe in you.'' She smiled.
''And that was the 4th down. Lets see if Nick Jonas can bring in the touchdown for the win.'' The annoucer guy said.
''Go kick ass.'' She said.
''Okay I will.'' Nick ran to the field and put his helmet on.
It was the 3rd down and they were at the 5 yard line. ''Hike!'' Nick yelled. He ran back a little looked to the right and saw the same white guy, but this time ducked him. Then looked to the left and saw Joe open without a second thought he threw to towards him. Nick quickly blinked and saw Joe catch the ball and make it into the inzone for the touchdown.
Everyone cheered and clapped. ''We won!'' Nick yelled happy while running towards Joe. It was a thing they did, jump in the air and hit eachother's chest.
There were 100ths of people on the field, but Nick was only looking for one. He turned his head and caught Demi with the corner of his eye and at the same time she saw him. They ran into eachother's arms. ''You did it!''
''And I couldn't of done it without you.'' Nick said while pulling away and kissing Demi on the lips.
Demi pulled away shocked. ''What was that for?''
''I don't know.'' He said out of breath. ''But it feels right.''
She only smiled and hugged him again, but what they didn't know Joe saw everything from a distance.
