Two Weeks Later
Nick and Demi have been inseperable ever since that night. Seeing eachother whenever they could, having Nick seak into Demi's room in the middle of the night, hiding in a closet at school so they could make-out, but keeping it all a secret just for now. The football team had won the 3rd round of play-offs, which meant that they would be going to state this Friday night. Right now it was pouring rain as Nick and Demi ran to the front door of his house trying not to get wet, but failed.
''Mom?! Dad?!'' He yelled as they both entered the house. When he heard no one respond back, he smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist. ''I guess we're alone.''
''What do you want to do?''
''I don't know.'' He leaned down to planet a soft kiss of her lips.
Demi smiled threw the kiss, and then pulled away. ''Well, it's a Saturday night. We could stay up and watch movies?'' She suggested.
''Okay. I'll race you to my room?''
''You're totally on.'' She agreed.
''Fine, on the count of three. One...tw-''
''Three!'' She screamed as she bolted up the stairs and to his room.
''That's cheating!'' He said while running after her.

''I should get home.'' Demi said as the movie finished.
''Nooo.'' He whined. ''It's still pouring rain. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I let my girlfriend go home in this weather condintion?''
''I live right across the streeet.''
''Come on, please stay the night. My parents won't come home tonight anyways.''
''What am I suppose to tell my mom when she askes where I was?''
''Tell, her you were at Selena's house.'' Demi was still unsure, but when she saw Nick say please again with a puppy dog face she couldn't resist. ''Fine, I'll stay. Only because you're cute.''
He smiled. ''Should I put on another movie?'' Right when she was about to answer him the power in the whole house went completely off. ''Damn storm!''

Since the power was out, Nick had gotten every candle in his house that he could find and put it in his room for him and Demi. Right now, they were laying on his bed talking and laughing. ''I have a surpise for you.'' He said.
''What?'' She asked.
''Closed your eyes.'' With a smile, she did as told and closed her eyes. He quickly reached under his bed to feel the paper bag and pull out the box. Nick turned back to face Demi and smiled at her cute little face while opening it. ''Now. Open your eyes.''
Once she opened her eyes and saw what he was holding, she gasped. ''Nick!'' She said before kissing him on the lips. ''It's beautiful!'' Kiss. ''You didn't have to do this!'' Kiss.
''I know, but I wanted to. I wanted to show how much you mean to me, and that I care a lot about you.'' As he was putting the charm bracelet around her wrist, he knew that it was the perfect time to tell her, tell her what he had told no other girl. ''And that I love you.'' Demi looked him in the eyes once she heard him say those three words and softly smiled and placed her soft plumb lips on his. The kiss was soft, but yet tender. Nick pulled away looking straight into Demi's brown eyes. "I love you Demi."
She smiled. "I love you too Nick."
He was finally able to breathe again, once he heard Demi said those three words back. He smiled and kissed her again, just this time with a little more passion. As they continued kissing and time went on, Nick was already on top of Demi playing with the bottom of her shirt wanting all of her night.This was something both of them had wanted, but never really brought it up, he pulled away breathing heavily. "Do you want to?" He asked her.
Demi knew exactly want he was talking about and wasn't completely sure because she still had some trust issues, but she was sure that she has never felt this way about any other boy, and that she was in love with Nick and that he was different. She nodded her head as she lifted up his shirt and threw it across the room were soon enough all of there clothes would be. Threw there whole night Nick would whsiper I love you to Demi and how much she meant to him. This was the first time he said it to a girl that he actually meant it. It wasn't til after they were done, when Nick was watching her sleep so peacefully that he rememebered the bet that him and Taylor had agreed to.
