March 22nd
That test was so intense.
I think I did alright.
Better than those two practice ones I have done in October of last year, December of last year, January, February and last weekend.
As soon as I got home, I ran up to my bed, took off my shoes and plopped into it.
My grandparents came up to my room last night and told me I can skip dance all day tomorrow if I wanted to because they know I can't function through a weekend without 20 hours minimum of sleep throughout that two day break from school.
I never got out of bed unless food was going to be given to me of if I had to use the bathroom.
For the rest of the weekend, my butt is glued to this bed.
"Hey darling." Grandpa Clark said as he came into my room.
"Hey Granddad." I say.
Grandpa Clark grunts as he takes a seat on the side of my bed right next to my body. Grandpa says, "Listen darling, I know you want to rest after that pain in the behind of a test but I just want to tell you that you should always keep in your head that you are not identified by grades on every assignment or exam."
"Thanks Granddad." I mutter. "Love you."
Grandpa Clark kisses the top of my head like he used to when I was a little kid. "Love you too darling." Grandpa says. Then he grunts as he gets up from my bed and leaves my bedroom.
I spent the entire day resting in my bed until dinner was ready.
