Chapter 5.

Baekhyun's pov

I know that Kyungsoo have a crush on Hyunji and i really disagree with him liking Hyunji why you ask me? It's because of what grandma said before she past away.

flashback

-at grandma's house-

"Hey grandma what are you doing?" said the 7 years old Baekhyun "I'm tidying my room, would you like to help hyun-ah?" "Yes grandma!!!! Hahah." while tidying grandma's room grandma found something very important. "What's that grandma? Do you keep a journal too? I do it everyday at school!" said Baekhyun "I do! That's great hyun-ah. Would you like to help grandma?" "Sure! What do you need help with grandma?" "When you grow up you will find a girl that you love and i need you to protect her for me?" "Who grandma? How can i protect her?" said that tiny Byun "She is a shy girl, you will know it soon hyun-ah. Come on i will get you some cookies i baked earlier." said grandma "okay grandma." and that Baekhyun kept thinking who is that girl that he needs to protect dearly?

I miss grandma she didn't tell me everything before she past away like who that girl was i had to find out myself. But one thing she said was "the old man staying near the woods will have the answer you are looking for hyun-ah." that was the last thing she said before she gone. I was 8 when grandma past away and for an 8 years old how am i going to do things without my grandma's help? My parents? they know what is going on but they told me i made a promise to grandma that i will find that girl by myself and i had too.

Everytime when guys kept approaching Hyunji well you can say i'm the devil, i make sure they will not talk to her the next day! I just said that she have a mental problem and with that they 'poof' disappear, hahah you should have seen their face when i told them that...
Hyunji doesn't know that i was the one behind this, i can't let her know any of this. She have to stay in the dark because once she knows something she will start getting curious and trouble will start rising and i don't want anything to happen to her.

I'm not in love with her or anything okay, i just made a promise to grandma that's all.... or is it??

Hyunji's pov

There is this guy in school that is really cute, if i'm not wrong his name is Kyungsoo well i know his dad owns one of the top retail line in Korea and one of the Byun's rival. Rumors started spreading because of Baekhyun and Kyungsoo's dark force around them and that's how i know about him.
Whenever we walk past each other he will tend to greet me and i will go all shy but Baekhyun will always glare at me and i'm not sure what i did wrong.

-school garden-

I was just sitting down on the bench and just stare at the flower and trees dancing around, it's really beautiful. "Why are you sitting all alone? Where is your best friend?" it was Kyungsoo the cute guy i was talking about "Oh hi, you mean Hani? She needs to help out in the dance club so i'm here alone." i replied shyly "I see, may i join you?" said Kyungsoo 'omygod did he just say he wants to join me? What am i going to do????'
"Erm.. sure if you want to." i said with that he sat down beside me enjoying the breeze of the wind. "You know you are really fascinating to look at." said Kyungsoo this is making it more awkward i'm not really good around guys. "Ermmm.....fascinating? You were looking at me?" "Yeah fascinating, i always look at you it's just you were not there to realise it." he replied staring at me. 'Stop staring you are making me blush...'
"I..i..i better get going, class is starting soon." I said stuttering and i stood up to get to class, i turn to him and asked "you not coming?" He looked at me and said "It's okay, you go ahead i want to enjoy myself here first." and i left for class.

Kyungsoo's pov

Her faced when she blushed was so cute, i didn't have the guts to come and sit beside her before we will always just greet each other or smile and we are off.
Class is starting i better get going.

Baekhyun's pov

I was heading to the gents washroom near the back door of the school when i walk by the school garden and i realised that Hyunji and Kyungsoo is sitting on the bench talking to each other. 'What the hell is that Soo doing there?' i thought. I decided to stand there and observe, i'm just standing here because i'm scared that Hyunji will be in trouble not because i like her or anything so don't think differently.

After sometime Kyungsoo turn to look at Hyunji and she blushed 'what are they talking about? I can't hear anything'. suddenly someone put his hand over my shoulder and said "Byun, what are you doing? We need to go to class now?" it was Minyeol this idiot "Ermm.... nothing le...let..lets just go." I said trying to walk away and not let Minyel finds out. "Oh it's Kyungsoo and Hyunji what are they doing there? Oh i see now you were staring at them..." he said while giving me that smirk of his. "NO I WASN'T COME ON LET'S GET TO CLASS!" i shouted while hitting his head. "OUCH! Okayokay i will let you off this time..." he said rubbing his head where i hit earlier.

We left for class and i can't help but think 'did Kyungsoo confessed to her?' 'Did she accept him?' Why am i so worried anyway?
