Life like Snow With Baekhyun [COMPLETED]

Chapter 7.

Finally up Chapter 7 for you.

Baekhyun's pov

"BYUN BAEKHYUN YOU BETTER GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE BEFORE I GO UP THERE AND HAD TO DRAG YOU DOWN!!" urgh! My mom has been shouting for 5 minutes and she just can't leave me alone... "DON'T MAKE ME COUNT TO 3!!" here she goes again.. "i'm counting now!.... 1........2....." before she even reach to number 3 "FINE I'M UP I WILL BE DOWN NOW!!" i shouted back, when my mom is mad she is like an insane robot who just won't shut up!! "GOOD I WANT YOU DOWN NOW!" "I am coming ohmygod..." i mumbled.

The reason why my mom wakes me up early is because my parents is going to a business trip with Mr Kim, Hyunji's dad which means i have to be staying at their house for a week... 'can the day be any better *sigh*' i thought. After washing up and getting dress i made my way down for breakfast, "Baekhyun your mom and i are going there for a week which means you need to be on your best behaviour when you are at the Kim's residence. Help them do the house chores you are already staying there for free so better get that butt of yours moving." my dad said with that glare of his. "And better start waking up early, you do not expect me to call you up every morning right?" asked my mom with that weird look of hers. "Don't worry i will be fine and i will help them with the chores when i'm there. Just go and take care of the business with Mr Kim." i said. My parents was looking at me and said "and one more thing please visit the old man staying at the woods when you are free, it's time for you to end this promise you had with grandma okay?" i almost forgot about the old man, the last time i visited him was 2-3 years ago i wonder if he is still staying there.. hmmm... i guess i have to check it out. "Yeah dad i will."

-on the way to Kim's residence-

"We are here, behave Baekhyun." "Mom i'm already 19 i'm not 9..." i said rolling my eyes. Mr Kim greeted my parents and they started to put their luggages into the bunk of the car. "Hyunji, Hyunmin dad will be going there take care of Baekhyun when we are away." said mr Kim to his children. "Yeah Dad we will and have a safe trip dad and Mr and Mrs Byun." "Thank you, we will. Bye Baekhyun call us if there is anything wrong." that was what my mom said before they entered the car and drove off. 'now is the awkward part' i just stared at them waiting for them to say something.

Hyunmin hyung invited me to the house and introduced me to my room where i will be sleeping for the week, Hyunji just went straight to her room when we entered the house we didn't even greet each other...

Hyunji's pov

'This is so awkward' i thought. Baekhyun is like in my house staying for the week, i am not even sure what to say to him. Oppa just told me to be comfortable with Baekhyun when he comes to our house to make it less awkward but i just can't seem to do that after all this while. I didn't even say hello to him when he arrived.

'Since he is staying here, should i take this opportunity to ask him about his change of behaviour? Oppa told me to be comfortable right? So i should try to talk him out which is i'm sure not easy.' Suddenly, i heard someone knocking my door "who is it?" I asked "It's me oppa, i have to go to dad's office for awhile will you mind accompany Baekhyun while i'm away? I will bring back dinner and i told Baekhyun about it. See you for dinner little bear." (Hyunmin is working with his dad btw.) he left to dad's office... 'now what am i going to do?'

I was sitting down at the living room watching television to entertain myself while waiting for oppa to come back and bring dinner. Baekhyun decided to head down to the living room and sat beside me, "you know i'm not mad at you." he started saying "you are talking to me???" i asked shock that he is actually talking to me "then who do you think i'm talking to? The wall?" he said looking at me "No, it's just that you kept ignoring me and pushing me away whenever i tried talking to you." I replied slowly "I just wanted to protect you but i think i made it worst." He said softly staring down at the floor... 'Protect? Worst?'

Baekhyun's pov

"I just wanted to protect you but i think i made it worst." I said softly staring down at the floor. I just want to make it up to Hyunji, i know i'm a jerk at times but i care for her way too much that is why i'm doing this. Protecting her from falling in love with someone else, getting hurt, getting into trouble but all i did was to make it worst.

"I'm a jerk i know, we have not been talking properly for years. I just want to make it up to you. Is it okay?" i said looking at her hoping she will not reject me "Baekhyun i'm not mad at you, i'm just upset at your behaviour towards me that's all. Since you want to make it up to me you have to bring me for an ice-cream." She said smiling. 'Hahah she is really cute when she smiles!' I remember that smile. "Friends Hyunji-ah?" I showed my hand to her, she look at it and shake it before saying "Friends Baekhyun-ah." we both smiled at each other knowing we are back to being friends.

And i hope i am doing the right thing listening to my dad for protecting her better when i'm closer to her and i will make sure nothing happens to her. But one thing i can't stop thinking was 'are we really just good being friends?'
