Chapter 8.

Chapter 8 is up!

Baekhyun's pov

Me and Hyunji are back as friends at least but there is one more thing that i need to do before i'm free from the promise, which is to meet the old man near the woods.. he should know what to do.

I pack my things and went out from the Kim's residence, Hyunji and Hyunmin hyung went out together so i was alone. I took my car and started driving where the old man lives, he stays in a really deserted area no one really go there at all. When i reach the place i saw the old man out side of his house cutting woods and i called him.

"Hey old man, i'm back." I said to him, when he saw me he smiled and replied "Oh Baekhyun, long time no see. What are you doing here?" "I need to ask you something, how do i stop this promise that i made with grandma?"
he looked at me with that small grin and said "let's get in first and i will tell you." we went in and he brought me a drink.
"So you were saying?" i said "The answer is easy." he said smiling 'what easy?' 'I'm being serious and he keep on smiling..' "Easy?" i asked "The promise will end when you start falling in love with her." he answered 'i was shock' "Your grandma wanted you to be with her till the end means your grandma wanted you to fall in love with her and marry her." He said. "but i thought..." i tried saying but can't "Your grandma said to protect her forever and if you both are together you are already protecting her because you love her that is why your grandma made this promise." He said "You are already falling for her aren't you? If not you won't come here and asked how to end the promise?" "I'm not sure with my feelings either." I said suddenly i thought of Hyunji's smiling face from yesterday 'she was really cute if only i could' snap out of it byun baekhyun!!!

I thanked the old man and decided to meet Minyeol, i need to talk to him about this. We are meeting in a cafe and i am waiting for him here. 'He is always late, i swear i will chop his head off when he arrives.' I thought and Minyeol just showed up. "Hey Byun, what's with the sudden meet up?" "I visited the old man by the woods just now and he said that the promise will end if i start falling for Hyunji." I said to him and he laughed "HAHAH AND THAT IS SO TRUE BECAUSE YOU ARE ALREADY IN LOVE WITH HER!!" he said shouting. I kick his leg for him to shut up "ouch byun!" he said rubbing his leg. "You deserve it idiot!" i said back "You know what i just said is true, you are over protective of Hyunji in school everytime when boys goes near her you will scared the creep out of them when Hyunji is out of sight." He said drinking his coffee "and you always tend to get angry when that Kyungsoo guy is with her, doesn't that prove you are already in love with her." "I'm not sure about my feelings bro." i said staring at the table and stirring my coffee "Than you better get your feelings sorted out before Hyunji is taken by someone else." Minyeol said 'you know sometimes this idiot makes sense being friends with him all he do is playing around but this time he is really serious.' after the conversation and finishing our coffee we went off to play basketball down the road from our school.

Hyunji's pov

Me and Oppa are out to buy food to eat for dinner tonight. 'I wonder what Baekhyun is doing?' why am i thinking of him? after buying we went home and Baekhyun is not in his room maybe he went out..
Me and Oppa was watching a movie when Baekhyun just arrives home and he look all sweaty "Why do you look like you got chase by a monster?" Oppa said and i laughed "I was playing basketball with Minyeol so i am very sweaty now, i will go and wash up now hyung." "Alright we will have dinner after you wash up." Oppa said back.

After eating Oppa went off to his room first and i was washing up when Baekhyun said "You want some help?" he said walking to stand beside me "Nope i'm fine." I said looking at him smiling "You look pretty when you smile." He said staring into my eyes 'this is very awkward he just said i'm pretty.' "Smile more i love seeing you this way." He said i quickly finish washing the dishes because i want to get out of this situation. After washing i was walking to my room when Baekhyun held my hand and said "Goodnight see you tomorrow morning, let's go to school together." and he walked to his room. 'Why is my heart beating so fast?' and i cannot stop thinking about him even when i was going to sleep.

Morning came and it's school day and i was getting ready for school, i walked down the stairs to find Baekhyun waiting for me at the living room. "You are finally down,let's go." and he pulled me out of the house with him. "Baekhyun, we can't go to school together. People will start asking." I said "I will start answering for you, don't worry i'm here to protect you i won't let anything happen to you i promise." He said staring into my eyes and holding my hand. He keeps staring until he started coming closer and closer and Baekhyun lips was on my lips.
