Ben's phone did this irritating thing where if you didn't answer the phone, it would play the voice mail out loud, so I woke up to Danny barking, "Ben, where the fuck are you? We were supposed to start recording an hour ago. Hurry the fuck up."

"Ben, wake up. You're phone went off," I said, shaking Ben a bit, he was sleeping heavy.

"I don't want to get up," He whined, curling up and leaning against the arm of the couch.

I kissed his cheek, "Babe, come on. The Danny's waiting at the studio."

He didn't even open his eyes, "Come with me?"

"Fine," I rolled my eyes, pulling him off the couch.

We took a quick shower and got dressed, then I headed down to the studio with him. I hadn't mentioned it, but I was starving. The songs were sounding really great, and then as the recording guy was giving Danny an opinion, his assistant walked in. "Can I get anyone anything?"

"Oh my god, yes," I said, practically begging. "I need a XXL Chalupa from Taco Bell, and some french fries, and a large Dr. Pepper."

The guy gave me a very strange look and Ben laughed from the booth, "She's pregnant."

The guy laughed and nodded, "Oh! Ha, my wife is too. I'll be back with your food soon."

I probably looked like a total pig as I scarfed down all of that food 20 minutes later, but I didn't give a shit. Danny actually started laughing during a song and they had to stop, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But she looks like a fucking animal!" More laughter. "When was the last time you ate, Alex?"

Ben was snickering to himself, and now I was laughing too. We were all laughing at my eating habits, and I wasn't even halfway done with this pregnancy yet. Oh lord, this was going to be a very long nine months.

After a very long session of recording, even though I had fallen asleep in my chair twice, I was very ready to go home. "Ben, I--"

"Don't tell me your hungry," He laughed, pulling into our neighborhood.

I stuck out my tongue, "No, I was wondering if you want to go pick out--" I strained my eyes, noticing from down the street that there was somebody sitting on our steps. "Is that Indy?"

"I think so," Ben shrugged, pulling into the driveway. "Yep."

I got out of the car and walked up to her, "Indy, what are you doing here?"

"I um," She looked really confused. "I might be pregnant, too."

"What?"

"It was only one time and I wasn't thinking and--"

"Hey, what are you talking about?"

We all went inside and sat down. "I slept with James after your wedding.." Ben burst out in hysterical laughter. "It's not funny, dickhead!"

"So,are you staying with him or something?" I asked, shooing Ben off to another room.

"No," She said, looking down. I flew in today, after taking the test yesterday. I have to take another one tomorrow, and it'll say whether I am or not."

"So why did you fly in at all?" I asked, now I was the confused one.

She turned her head and smiled sadly, "I missed you."

I pulled her into a hug. "Everything is going to be perfectly fine."

Indy stayed at my house that night, and I urged her to take the next test in the morning. She was terrified, and it turns out she was scared off nothing. Next thing I knew she was dancing around my bedroom, "I'm not pregnant!"

Ben pulled a pillow over his head and sunk under the covers, "Is there a fucking off button on her?"

"Nope," She smiled, doing some out-of-date dance move.

I wrapped her in my arms and laughed, "I fucking love you."

That day, all three of us went shopping to decorate the babies room. We decided we weren't doing the "pink for the girl and blue for the boy" thing, so we were able to shop before knowing. We decided the theme was going to be wolves, so we got little wolf plushies and blankets and a rocking chair, plus bottles and diapers from the smallest to the biggest they had.

"Babe, I think you're going overboard," I laughed, touching Ben's arm as he threw 6 box of wipes into the cart.

"I just want to be prepared," He shrugged nervously, walking off to look at strollers.

I whispered to Indy, "I don't think we even spent this much money on the house."

As we looked at paint, we decided on white and blue. I wasn't sure what Ben had meant but I let him handle that part. He was so excited, and I was so happy to see it. I had to admit, at that first doctor's appointment, I wasn't so sure how Ben would feel about this. But it couldn't have been going better.
