Chapter 8 ~ Planning the Surprise

It's been 2 weeks since I last saw Max. Tomorrow was his birthday. Spicy and I had an amazing plan. Max had been torn apart from leaving me and the only times he smied was during the shows or if he was doing a vlog. They were on their way to Vegas at the moment and I was texting Max and Spicy.

To: Nick SpicyBrown xD

Do you have a show tomorrow? I wanna talk to you as much as I can.

- Riley

I smiled as I re read the messages of Spicy and I planning out everything and Max having absolutely no clue. I had a plane to catch in 2 hours an a boyfriend to fool.

From: Max <3

Yeah I do. It's in the afternoon. At 2.

-Max

To: Max <3

Alright. I have to go in an hour though. I'm going to meet up with Maria and catch some lunch.

I smiled as I texted Max. He's amazing.

From: Max

Alright baby. I miss you.

At that, I went to get ready.

After the flight, I had to get my things into my hotel for the night. Spicy came to help me. We went over the plan one last time.

"He still has no idea?" I asked.

"The boys and I only told him that he has a great birthday present."

"This is awesome!"

"So after the show and your surprise, your both going to Costa Rica for a week!"

"Really? Max is gonna love that!"

"So tomorrow, you'll show up at the concert."

"Yep. I can't wait to see him."

"He misses you like crazy. He hates himself for having done this to you."

"Oh." I said sadly. Spicy then grabbed my hand and flipped it over to look at my wrists. They had a bunch of fresh, new cuts that I had made since Max left.

"Riley..."

"Please don't freak out or tell Max."

"Okay. Just please try to stop. Your beautiful."

"Alright." I replied. Spicy was sweet, but it wasn't the same as Max when he called me beautiful.

"Now I have to go, Max is gonna flip out if I'm not back soon."

"Haha okay Spicy."

"We're doing a google hangout in 2 hours. Make a new twitter and I'll make sure to add you in."

"Alright. I'll text you the account."

"Okay, bye Riley."

"See ya." And with that, he left. I sat down and made a new twitter account. @Schneiderluv13 (don't know if that's an actual account.) and followed max and the boys. Spicy instantly followed me back and DMed me.

'Is this Riley?'

'Yep'

'Okay'

I laughed as Spicy kept talking to me about how they were having issues with the computer. It was amusing. Eventually they got everything working and I saw Max pop onto the screen.

"Hey baby! I'm almost 21!!"

Instantly there were replies saying 'happy early birthday Max!' I tweeted him a question.

@Maxgschneider do you have a sweetheart to share your birthday with?

"Hey Schneiderluv13! Yeah I do have a sweetheart, but she's not with me. She's back in California. I would give anything for her to be here with me."

I instantly teared up. I missed him so much.

"Why don't I add you in on this party?"

Next thing I know, I'm being invited to the hangout. My face appeared on screen and Max was in total shock.

"Hi baby." I said softly.

"Riley, oh my god."

"Miss me?"

"Yes," he said happily, "everyone, this is my girlfriend, Riley."

Tweets were everywhere. Some not as pleasant as others, but it was cool. Most of the fans were happy for Max and I, others hated my guts.

We talked for a little while until Max said he had to add more fans in. After that, I texted him.

From: Max

Where are you at anyways? That didn't look like your house.

-Max

To: Max <3

It's Maria's house.

-Riley

Dodged that one. Holy shit that was close. Spicy texted me.

From: Nick SpicyBrown

Max almost caught on. We need to be more careful. I have security coming to get you tomorrow before the show. They should be there around 1. Go get some sleep.

At that, I texted Max goodnight and went to bed.
