Louis' P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning with my phone on my chest. I looked at what was on the screen and it was a picture of Dawn from last summer. She looked so beautiful, she always did. I looked at my clock and it said 10:34 am and I sat up. I put on my jeans, a flannel shirt button down, and my white converse. I rushed to my car and started to drive immediately to Ames' apartment building.

I walked in and I saw Ames and Dawn. They were walking to the pool out back and were hand in hand. I followed them outside but stayed far enough away that they couldn't see me. Through the glass of a window I saw Ames lay down on a white beach chair and she laid on top of his chest. Ames rapped his arms around her waist and she propped herself up on her elbows to look at him. They kissed and she started smiling and giggling.

I literally felt my heart break. I could feel it sinking to the bottom of my chest and just lie there in sadness. It was then I realized I couldn't just go over there and take her. I wasn't going to be that selfish, but I love her so much. I will never be able to get over her. I turned around in my place, wiped the single tear that was running down my face and walked out of the building. I guess it's time to go and starting packing to leave for the marines.

I am so happy right now. Ames is the perfect guy and I don't know why I didn't realize it before. We laid out in the sun together while he had his arms wrapped around my lower back. "So what do you want to study for college?" I asked. "Well I don't know there are so many things but probably politics." "Wow really?" I said with sort of a hesitant voice. I hate politics I think they are so boring. Most everyone in politics only cares about how much they're getting paid and who's in charge of what.

"Do you have a problem with that?" Ames said but sounds slightly angry. "No not at all I just didn't expect that from you." "So what you think I'm stupid? Think I can't do it?" "No I ju...." "Just shut up and leave will you?" "I got up and walked away. Not afraid or ashamed but just walked away. I need to go home now there has been way too much drama in the past 2 days. It was just a little fight after all it's not like we're not friends anymore. We're friends right? Well more like friends with benefits because he never really asked me to be his girlfriend.

I made it to my car and turned it on. It wasn't a long drive from here to my apartment, thank God. I pulled in, unbuckled my seat belt, walked in and shut the door. I took my shoes off and went upstairs to change. I picked out my favorite pair of sweat pants and and pink tank top that was a little short so my belly button showed. I just sat on my couch and turned on my television and The Notebook was just starting. Yes, my favorite movie.

I arrived at my apartment and turned the knob on the door. Looking around I spotted a square cardboard package on my table. I carefully cut it open and saw something memorizing, my marine uniform. I picked up a little white card that was lying on the top of the uniform. I opened it and it said...

"Hello Mr. Louis William Tomlinson,

We are pleased to tell you that because of your recent earning of the "Ironman Award" you are not required to enter camp and will be deployed at an unknown date. Start packing now solider because we will need you soon. Here is your official uniform. Be dressed in it when you arrive at the airport, we will be looking for you. Good luck with whatever you wish to do before being deployed and make sure you tell your girlfriend you love her ,if you have one of course, and we will be seeing you.

Sincerely,

Captain Edward Dunn

Oh my God this cannot be happening. I have to leave Dawn sooner then I thought. I need to tell her, but I can't it will break her heart. Tomorrow. No tonight, I must tell her tonight. I love her so much that I never want to leave her. Yet she isn't even mine.
