Chapter 23 - Starting YouTube

Alana's P.O.V
I think today we are just going to stay at home and play with Stitch, also I'm going to be filming a video with Phil for his channel. I'm so excited!

   We were discussing what video to make when I heard a scratching noise at my bedroom door, Phil was in my room while we were talking. I opened the door to see a little Stitch sat wearing cute little reindeer antlers (picture at the beginning)

We let him in the room and he went and curled up on my rug in the middle of my floor, in the end me and Phil decided to make a 7 second challenge, it took a long time to decide but we did it. We couldn't really think of much else to do so we just got straight into it, we got Phil's subscribers to tweet 7 second challenges. I'm scared that they will make us do something because they know he's filming the video with his girlfriend, me. We called Dan in to read us the challenges.

Half way through the video

"You have 7 seconds to kiss on camera" Dan said laughing, he did it on purpose and he knew we wouldn't be happy because we have to do it.

We both leaned in for a quick peck and head butted, we did it but we both hurt our heads.

After the video

"Dan I'm going to flipping kill you!" I shouted making everyone laugh "oi, it isn't funny your a prick" I laughed at myself

"I thought it wasn't funny" Dan said

"Just shurrup" I said staring at him

Luckily Dan left the room, don't get me wrong I love him to bits (as a friend!) but he just takes the Micky sometimes.

"Why don't you make your own channel?" Phil suggested switching his camera off

"I guess I just don't have the ideas for videos" I admitted

"Shall we set one up? I can give you ideas?" Phil suggested

"Alreyt then come on" I sighed picking up Phil's laptop.

   First we entered all of my details, the one thing we didn't do was my name. I was stuck between AlanaBanana or LarnaTheNarna. Phil likes LanaTheNarna but I think AlanaBanana sounds better, we have decided to let jasmine choose because she's my bestie.

"Jaz!" I yelled

"Sup?" She called through the hall

"Come here a sec!" I shouted

I could hear her footsteps echoing through the hall

"Which sounds better" I started "AlanaBanana or LanaTheNarna?"

"AlanaBanana because that's what I used to call you when we were younger" she said smiling

"Okay thanks" I said smiling

"What you doing anyway?" She asked

"Starting YouTube" I said

"Cool, I'm gonna go back in my room now, have fun" she said and walked out of the room.

Phil told me to sit on the bed while he focused the camera for my video, I fixed my hair, touched my makeup up and thought about what I was going to say. For my intro im probably going to say: Hey People AlanaBanana here how's you doin? I'm doing good thanks for asking.

My video is just going to be introducing me and then I'm filming a collab with Phil and maybe with Dan too, depending on what he thinks. It wasn't very light outside today because it has been rainy and cloudy all day so Phil put a ring light on the camera because it also gives me a cute glowing ring in my eyes also it doesn't provide LOADS of light. I started the video and when I said Hey People I waved at the camera.

After about 10 minutes I finished he video on: Ta Ta Ducks. I waited for 10 seconds then got up and turned the camera off, then Phil walked into the room

"You ready for me?" He asked sitting down beside me

"Yeah what do you want to film?" I asked

"Whatever you want, it's your channel" he stated smiling

We decided to film a Q&A, we tweeted on Phil's Twitter asking for questions because I don't have as many followers.

There was a lot of questions like:

Where did you meet?

How old are you both?

Dogs or cats?

Obviously we answered them all, we didn't want to let people down.

Do you have a pet/pets?

For that question Phil ran out of the room, I didn't know if something upset him, luckily he ran back in holding Stitch. He sat back next to me and gave me Stitch, he licked my cheek

"Yeah we do have a pet, his name is Stitch and a little fact about him. We rescued him and he has his leg amputated due to injuries." I said whilst smiling and stroking his head, I felt like I was going to cry then I felt Phil's arm rubbing circles on my back with his hand, it made me feel safe.

I ended the video and sat in a hug with Phil for about 5 minutes, with Stitch in the middle....
