Ally's POV:

Austin took me to the movies and we were in line for pop corn and drinks when we spotted Kira coming toward us. She's Austin's ex.

"Ally, will you pretend to be my girlfriend really quick?!" He asked frantically. Before I could even ask what was going on his arm was around me. I looked up at him confused and he just whispered,"Dont say anything."

Kira came by and noticed us, immediately stopping in her tracks. "Well, if it isn't Austin Moon," she smiled widely,"And who's this? Ally is that you? Are you two...?"

I was told not to speak so I just nodded with a smile, quickly snaking my arm around Austin's waist to make it look more believable. "Yeah," Austin laughed nervously pulling me close,"We're uh-together now."

Kira nodded approvingly. "Knew it all along," she laughed. Austin smiled proudly and winked at me.

"Pay up." Austin smirked holding out his hand. Kira rolled her eyes and pulled out 5 dollars placing it in his hand before congratulating us and walking away.

"Austin what was all that about?" I asked looking up at him. "Kira and I made a bet when we broke up on who would have a new date first....and well....I needed money for our drinks."

"Austin!" I laughed.

Austin's POV:

When we got into our theater, guess who was sitting 3 rows behind us? None other than Kira Starr. I quickly put on arm around Ally's shoulder like a boyfriend would. She snapped her gaze from the movie screen to me.

"Kira's behind us," I whispered. Ally gave me an 'are you kidding me' look before deciding to play along.

She rested her head on my shoulder and I laid mine on hers.

And then guess who else walked in the theater. Trish and Dez. My first thought was; why are they here at the movies alone by themselves and why didn't they tell us. My second was; oh crap what if they see us and think we've been dating. I couldn't just reposition myself because Ally was comfortable and I honestly didn't want to move. So I just sat there praying that they wouldn't see us.

They sat in the row RIGHT behind us. Of course. I decided to make Ally aware of the situation. "Ally...Trish and Dez are kind of behind us," I whispered. She immediately stood straight up.

"What?!" She whispered loudly.

"Shhhhh they haven't seen us yet. Just act normal."

"What is your idea of normal right now because Kira is behind us too!"

"Uhh...just hold my hand. Couples do that at movies, right?" I whispered sneaking a glance behind us. Trish and Dez's eyes were fixed on the movie but they were holding hands. Oh my God....

I grabbed Ally's hand and held onto it for dear life. There was no way I could concentrate on the movie now.

I spent the whole time worrying about being seen doing the wrong thing by the wrong person and getting caught red-handed.
