the word 'update'

have you ever thought about how beautiful the word 'update' is? we use it everyday; update your profile, update your résumé,..etc. that word represents flexibility. you wrote something a while ago, but don't like it now? no problem, change it.

it is okay to admit that you have made a mistake, you can correct it. it doesn't necessarily mean it is wrong, it could be that it doesn't represent who you are anymore. you grew up, you met new people, you learned new things, you matured. this led to a shift in your mindset. you don't have to keep doing what you used to think was right. you could have thought an idea was stupid 5 years ago, and now you realize it is wonderful. it doesn't make you a hypocrite.

there is something exciting about moving from one stage to another; ending a whole chapter of your life. you are now ready to experience something new, something better hopefully. when you update the software of your computer or phone, you expect speed and new features, right?
