haikus* part I

1.
bright daylight sneaking
through my window bringing in
positivity.

2.
it is a good morning
when you have a long chat with
one of your dear friends

3.
i'm getting closer
to re-inventing myself
what will happen next?

4.
i'm too tired to sleep.
don't know how to describe it.
is that even a thing?

5.
ask a question but
do not wait for an answer
keep walking anyway

                   

* "haiku" is a traditional form of japanese poetry. haiku poems consist of 3 lines. the first and last lines of a haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. the lines rarely rhyme.
