a shift in perspective

when you find yourself putting so much effort into something you don't even enjoy, that is when you have to take a step back and try to re-evaluate your priorities.

don't do something you think you "should" do. instead, you should focus on what comes naturally to you. you might not be good at painting, but you might be good at writing. you might not be a social butterfly, but you might be good at thinking outside the box.

when you are working so hard at something that feels like a chore, ask yourself if there is something else that is worthy of your time & energy.

giving up isn't always bad.

"working hard for something we don't care about is called stress; working hard for something we love is called passion." - s. sinek.
