Brittle bones,
snap swiftly.
Falling feverishly,
Like frigid flurries,
Through the somber sky.
Profusely puncturing
The geranium ground,
Shattering sharply,
Like glistening glass.
Rapidly receding
Into the silky snow,
Eternally entrapped under a
Swelling sea
Of ivory ice.
