The Tenacious Tree

*The underlying message in this poem shows that as long as you are strong, you can make it through any "storm". No matter how broken or hurt you are, you can always pick yourself up and continue to hold your head up high.

A tender tree terrifically towers over a beautiful bed of glistening green grass.

As the shimmering sun's radiant rays carefully cradle,

The bold boughs in an enamoring embrace,

Proudly preventing the dirty darkness from, painfully penetrating into its colossal core.

Vigorously a velvet veil of charcoal clouds appear,

Consuming the screaming sky in a sea of shrouding shadows.

The threatening thunder's ravishing roar reaches underneath the rugged roots,

terribly terrorizing the trembling, tremendous trunk and terrified tiny twigs.

Luminous lightning sharply shoots through the consolidating clouds,

Slicing the surging sky like a serrated sword.

Illuminating the damp darkness with a sonorous shot of lucent light,

Critically cracking and feverishly fracturing the brown brittle branches.

Wild wind wickedly waltzes through the luscious leaves,

Tearing through the shaking sapling like a treacherous tornado,

Fiercely fighting with the fearful frightened foliage,

As they furiously fall to the grim ground.

The sleek sheeny sheet of pellucid pellets,

Percolate persuasively, penetrating the barren bark,

Tragically trapping the limp limbs inside a cramped crystal cage,

Where they are silently, severely suffocated.

The surging storm stops swiftly,

As the sizzling sun shimmers seductively,

And the frosted fluffy cotton candy clouds, smoothly sail across the silky sapphire sky,

Above the tenacious tree terrifically towering over a burly blanket of dirty debris.
