Pretty Pieces

A/N: This was inspired by feeling overwhelmed from my family members and friends. It feels as though they want to so much from me and want to schedule days to see me. However I find it hard to manage my own life working and seeing my husband. I feel it would be easier to cut myself into pieces so that everyone will be happy.

My lanky legs and angular arms are being pulled profusely in all directions,

Causing my silken skin to stretch stringently like an elastic band.

The potent popping of my joints jostling out of their sunken sockets,

Reverberates rambunctiously inside of my helicoid head.

My brittle bones are being twisted and contorted into shaky shapes,

As they critically crack and excitably explode into paltry pieces,

Frantically flying into my emerald eyes,

Causing a sinuous sea of salty tears, to run ruthlessly down my fearful face.

My bruised body is sharply split into sizable sections,

As though a jagged knife is cutting me, into pretty pieces like I'm a saccharine cake.

Each calculated cut sends an excruciating electric shock of piercing pain, down my seized spine.

I wish the severe slaughter will stop, as I drastically drink up all of my teetering tears,

Between my swollen soggy lips.

Suddenly my hollow head is wickedly wrenched off my body, as though I am a Barbie doll,

As it savagely soars through the air until, finally carelessly colliding with the ground.

I watch as the pretty pieces of my broken bones and sundered skin,

Are packaged precisely together into a square scanty box.

With a blush coloured bow, the gifts are now ready to be bought by carnivorous consumers.

All they had to do was ask.

And I would have been happy to give them,

A pretty piece of me, for free.

But I can tell now, that would have been impossible,

Because one pretty piece, wouldn't suffice to simply sustain their abrasive appetites.

My eyes close slowly as I watch the pretty pieces of by body leave my side,

Knowing it will only be a matter of seconds before my head is perfectly packaged,

And sent away to be demonically devoured.
