Author's Note:
Hi everyone! =)
This is the very first time that I will be writing an English Novel (with Tagalog & Japanese languages) because I had been used to Filipino stories. If you want to read my Filipino stories, you can visit my works then.
I also want to clarify that I am not a professional writer or an author of any particular books but I'm hoping that Wattpad would be my path to enhance and develop my skills in writing as well. With this, if there would be some typographical errors, wrong spellings/grammars.. please tell me in advance so I could fix them immediately!
To all my followers in Wattpad, I know what you're thinking right now!! Yes, this is the first time also that I posted a copyright notice (as what posted above) because this story is very special to me and such an unusual one since this is based on a true story. You will know where this story based on when we get to the end!
Oops, I forgot to tell you that I dedicate this story to my Mom (Ann). I already confronted her that I will interview her regarding this since she is the major character here and she appreciated it! Well, later tonight I wish I'll be able to interview her (if she's not busy, though) and I am so excited for this! And of course, I also dedicate this to my Dad (Kenji), I hope he could be able to read this in the future (though he can't speak & understand English. HAHA!) and realize that he has a daughter who's inspired writing because of him.
Again, this is my first time writing an unusual story so please bear with me if ever I would have any errors. You can post on my message board or just PM me for better. I will appreciate it, promise!
Anyway, I will be posting every chapters but it comes first the interview details with my mother (Ann) and followed by the chapter so it would be clear to every one since it is based on a true story. All names of a person, place and/or events are fictional since I respect the privacy who are or may involved in the story.
About The Title of the Story:
"Silhouette of A Yakuza"
I came up to this title because as we know, "Silhouette" defines the image of a person and it could be a 'shadow' also in other terms. The only difference is that, it is an object or scene represented as a solid shape of a single colour, usually black, its edges matching the outline of the subject. I represent silhouette as to my father - his appearance & personality as a person, man, boyfriend, husband and a father or whatsoever.
"Yakuza." This japanese word means a 'gangster' or a person involved in a crime syndicate in Japan. Just because I came up to that word doesn't really mean that my Dad is a Yakuza. I just used that term because for me it complements the term silhouette in which a person (yakuza) has his hidden personalities (silhouette) within him that no one can determine.
P.S.
This story will begin perhaps next week or hopefully within this week only if ever my Mom tells me the plot of her story. Lol! But, this author's note will followed by the prologue so you'll have an idea about the story. I hope I could make a prologue video but then, I am busy right now - no time for movie editing! (But if someone volunteers to do so, it will be greatly appreciated!) And also, this will be having a slow update since I am still working on my Filipino/Tagalog stories but don't you worry.. I won't be a cliffhanger (crossfinger). =)
Best regards,
Eiichiko <3
