forgetful

I can hear them

They whisper and murmer about her.

About, us.

Not once did they come up to me,
They stared from afar.

I wish, i could just walk away

Pretend it never happened.

But i will never forget,

The blood on my hands,

The smile on my face.

How can you forget that?

That moment will forever be burned into my memories.

I want to tell them.

Tell them that it wasnt my fault,

That she did it.

She was the one who was laughing.

Laughing at nothing, but her smile

It was so beautiful.

I had to smile too.

The moment was, nice.

But she was driving,

Not paying attention.

We crashed.

I looked over, dizzy

To see her looking right back at me.

The laughter now gone, replaced with ringing.

I saw her mouth move,

But no matter how hard i try,

I cant remember her last words.
