Maia's P.O.V
OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!! I WAS INVITED TO JAMES HOUSE!!!
I'm so excited, James is cute, funny, adorable, handsome, and a tad bit sexy if I say so myself. I changed out of my uniform and into some jeans and a tank top.
"Come on Maia, don't freak out, don't freak out..."
I walked up the steps to the front door and knocked waiting for an answer. The door opened with James wearing shorts, no shirt, and a towel around his neck.
"Hey Maia, sorry about this... I just got out of the shower."
I practically looked like a Tomato.
"O-oh u-uh that's o-okay..."
Yes I said that with a stutter
"Well come in it's cold"
He stepped aside as I walked in.
"I'll be right back"
He walked upstairs and to what seemed like his bedroom.
I walked over and sat on the couch,
All I could think is the smell. The house smelled like roses and smoke, the good smelling smoke. I noticed a year book on the coffee table, on the title it read,

He goes to Waterbrook?! I thought.
I heard footsteps walking down the stairs and looked to the stairs. Seeing James in a tank top and his shorts. He walked over and sat next to me,
"So uh, what's first?"
He asked, staring into my eyes.
"O-oh, well, let's start with being sweet or nice to the customers."
I adjusted myself to look like I had my order book.
"I'd like a coffee miss"
He said smiling.
"One coffee coming up"
I said smiling back
"Maia? I have one question."
"Sure James, what is it?"
He smiled bigger and stood up, me standing up as well.
"Okay, say you tripped while walking to order. Could you just trip for a sec?"
I pretended to trip, except I actually did. As I fell James caught me and looked into my eyes once more
"Would it be okay if I did this...? Catching you as you fell?"
I stood up, relizing I was closer to James than I thought... I was a blushing mess from what happened.
"O-of course...."
He seemed to have a warm glow to his face, he wasn't smiling yet he wasn't frowning. He put his hand on my cheek and leaned close to me as if he was gonna kiss me.

Damn it....
I thought, I was so close to kissing her. Maia's beautiful, she's cute, funny, adorable, and amazing all together.
I saw Maia sit on my couch as I walked to the door, opening it.
Oh no....
It was Amber. My Ex.
"HI JAMES!!!!!"
She threw her arms around my neck and kissed me. I stood there frozen as I looked at her.
"I should be going...."
Maia stood up, grabbed her things, pushed past me and Amber, outside, and drove away. I growled
"Great!!!"
"ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME?!?!?!"
She screamed. Sounding angry.
"WE WERE NEVER TOGETHER AFTER YOU CHEATED ON ME!!!"
"THAT WAS TWO MONTHS AGO!! LET IT GO!!!!"
I pushed her out the door. I was beyond angry. I was furious.
I wanted to kiss Maia today. Right then. But Amber came. Amber was nice but she just wasn't the one. I looked at the coffee table and say a note. As I walked over all I could see was a note
