LIZZY SAT AT THE Fumigation Party at the Bronze, bored out of her mind. She left Willow and Buffy to their own things and wrapped her leather jacket closer to her body when she stepped outside into the cold air.
As Elizabeth walked home, it felt like there was someone watching her. Or something. She turned around, "Alright, who's there?"
A giant vampire landed in front of the blonde and she backed away until she ran into another one. Before taking off running, she kicked him between the legs. Two vampires grabbed onto her arms and the one she just assaulted walked over, "Okay, okay, I'm sorry for kicking the family jewels, but it's not my fault. You're the one who wanted to eat me..." She gulped as the vampire still stalked towards her, "And still do." Lizzy said as they dragged her into an alleyway. She let out a scream as the vampire leaned into her neck, "Let me go!"
All of the sudden, the vampire was pulled away. Elizabeth opened her eyes to see her savior, Angel, "Good dogs don't bite!" He growled before punching the vampire.
Elizabeth elbowed the vampires that were holding her in the face. One recovered quickly and pinned her to the fence. Angel kicked the other one in the face and she saw the vampire behind him grab a sharp metal pole, "Look out!" Lizzy warned,
He hit Angel and Lizzy punched the vampire that held her against the fence in the face and ran over to help Angel, "Run!"
They quickly ran to Elizabeth's house and went inside before the vampires were able to reach her. She quickly locked the door and leaned against it, out of breath.
"It's alright. A vampire can't come in unless it's invited." Angel panted.
Elizabeth turned away from the door and looked at the blood that stained Angel's shirt, "I'll get some bandages and you take off your shirt." He followed the blonde into the kitchen and she grabbed the first aid kit from under the sink. The teenager turned around to find the back of a shirtless Angel.
She paused for a moment, appreciating the lean yet muscular back. She spotted the griffin tattoo on his right shoulder and smirked, "Nice tattoo." She commented as she walked over and opened the kit, "Thanks for saving me. I should really stop walking home alone in the dark."
"Don't you know how to fight? Your sister being the slayer and all." He replied.
"A little. But I'm not as strong as Buffy." Lizzy answered before she heard the front door unlocking. Her mother was home.
Elizabeth quickly put down the bandages before running towards the door and pulling her mother in before shutting the door and locking it again, "Honey, what are you doing?"
