Elizabeth Summers always knew she was different, but she thought it always had to do with her sister, Buffy, the Slayer.
But that just wasn't the case.

SUMMER WAS OVER.
Buffy and Elizbeth spent their summer with their dad in LA before returning to Sunnydale the night before school started again.
They were walking through the cemetery when the sisters heard screams. The both of them sprinted to find Willow and Xander dealing with a vampire. Lizzy ran over to Willow while Buffy handled the vampire.
"Hi guys." Buffy killed the vampire, "Miss us?"
"Buffy! Lizzy!" They both got a turn at getting a hug from the both of them (although, Xander hugged Buffy twice.)
"Man, your timing really doesn't suck." Xander laughed,
"When'd you guys get back?" Willow asked,
"Uh, just now. Dad drove us down." Elizabeth answered,
"And I figured you two losers would be getting into some kind of trouble." Buffy continued,
"I think we had the upper hand. I-in a subtle way." Willow replied,
"Does either of you even have a cross? Very sloppy." Lizzy commented, crossing her arms.
"Well, it's been a slow summer. I mean, that's the first vampire we've seen since Buffy killed the Master." Xander said,
"It's like they knew I was coming back. They start to walk." Buffy stated,
"So, what about you two? How was your guys' summer? Did you slay anything?" Xander asked,
"No. Uh, just hung out, partied some." Buffy replied,
"Shopping was also a major theme." Lizzy smiled,
"Well, Buff, you haven't lost your touch. That vampire..."
"I did kinda whale on him, didn't I?" Buffy asked,
"I like your hair." Xander commented, pointing out Buffy's shorter hair.
Buffy giggled, "So, how did you guys fare? Did you have any fun without us?"
"No."
"Yes!"
"Uh, our summer was kinda yawn-worthy. Our biggest excitement was burying the Master." Xander said and they stopped walking, "That's right, you missed it." Xander pointed by a tree, "Right out by that tree."
"Giles buried the bones and we poured holy water and we got to wear robes." Willow said,
"Very intense. You shoulda been." Xander commented,
"Have you seen Giles?" Willow asked,
"Why would I do that? I'll see him at school." Buffy replied,
"Man, I'm really glad you're back."
"Me, too." Buffy responded, staring at the tree.
THE NEXT night, Elizabeth entered her bedroom with her night clothes on. Her window was open and Lizzy turned to see Angel, "Hello." She smiled,
"Mind if I come in?" He asked,
"Be my guest." Lizzy replied
"How are you?" Angel asked, walking towards the girl,
"Peachy." Elizabeth answered, "So, is this a social call? It is kinda late. Or, well, it is for me, anyway. What is it for you, lunch hour?"
"It's not a social call."
Lizzy's smile fell, "Ah. So, lemme guess. That means grave danger. Gosh, it's good to be home."
"I'm sorry. I wish I had better news." Angel apologized,
"So, some of your cousins are in town for a family barbecue, and we're all on the menu!" Elizabeth stated, crossing her arms over her chest,
"The Anointed One. He's been gathering forces somewhere in town. I'm not sure why." Angel explained,
"Guess we'll find out soon enough, huh?"
"You don't sound too concerned." He commented,
"I can handle myself, Angel. Besides, I know Buffy could use a little action anyway." She responded,
"Don't underestimate the Anointed One just because he looks like a child. He has power over the rest of them. They'll do anything for him." Angel said,
"Is that it? Is that everything?" Lizzy questioned, getting into bed. She was angry now. She hasn't seen him in months and now he shows up to talk business,
He seemed to notice her anger, "Sorry. I'll go." Angel turned around but paused in front of the window, "I missed you."
"I missed you...." Elizabeth turned to see he was gone, "too."
