THE SCOOBY GANG was able to figure out that Chris and Eric were involved in the graverobbing/zombie situation. Chris' locker was filled with books about corpses and medical stuff while Eric's had a collage of a woman made from different magazine cutouts. They were making a woman Frakenstein.

Giles informed the teenagers that Chris and Eric needed a head. So there wouldn't be a mismatched woman walking around any time soon. When the group figured out that the two strange boys weren't at school, they separated to search their houses. The Summers sisters went to Chris' while Xander and Willow went to Eric's.

Buffy and Lizzy found the plans for the body. And, as it turns out, it was Lizzy's head they wanted, "We need to get you somewhere safe." Buffy told her sister as they made their way towards the high school, "Maybe we should try and contact Angel."

"No!" Lizzy exclaimed, stopping her sister, "We can do this without him." She wanted to prove herself to Angel, that she didn't need him as a bodyguard.

They got to the school and Buffy went to go find Chris while Lizzy stayed with Willow, Xander, and Giles at the football game. Lizzy eventually broke away from the group and was looking around the stadium until she spotted red hair. As Lizzy made her way under the stands to investigate, an arm wrapped around her middle.

She screamed, but the cheering from the crowd drowned hers out. The person, who couldn't be Chris, dragged Lizzy into the school and knocked her out.

THE BLONDE WOKE up with a bag over her head and she heard voices, Eric's, but not Chris'. Soon, the bag was taken off of her and Lizzy screamed when she saw the face, "Who are you?"

The scarred man glared down at Lizzy, "I'm Daryl Epps."

"Chris' brother who died. How-?" Liz questioned,

"He brought me back. And once you're attached, you'll be brought back, too." He smiled down at the teenager.

"This is murder." Lizzy hissed at Eric and Daryl.

"It won't matter in the end." Daryl replied, stroking Liz's cheek.

Lizzy spat in his face and he slapped her. As she recovered from the hit, Eric came over and marked her neck with a pen, "You're gonna feel a little pinch, maybe some discomfort around the neck area. But don't worry. When you wake up, you'll have the body of a seventeen-year-old. In fact, you'll have the body of several." He smirked, revealing the body and Liz whimpered.

Eric held a large knife over a flame when there was a pounding at the door. The three all looked over as it burst open and Lizzy smiled when she saw Buffy.

Eric threw the knife at her, but she caught it and he ran to hide, "Daryl, listen. I know what you're doing, okay? Your brother sent me to stop you." Buffy said,

"He wouldn't do that. My brother loves me." Daryl growled,

"Yeah, a little too much." Lizzy grumbled as she struggled in the restraints,

"It's okay, Lizzy. I'm gonna get you outta here." Buffy comforted,

"No, I'm not done with her yet!" Daryl yelled, grabbing a cleaver.

He was about to hack at Liz's neck when Buffy knocked his arm away and punched him in the face. Daryl punched her back and slammed her head into the instrument tray before throwing Buffy over Liz's body and onto the floor.

"I won't live alone!" He pushed Liz's gurney aside, and it knocked over the can of gasoline. The gas began pouring out onto the floor.

"I'm getting out of here!" Eric exclaimed but Daryl grabbed him by the shirt,

"You have to help me!"

"Let go!" Daryl threw Eric aside and faced Buffy again. Eric slid into a barrel with his head and got knocked out. The younger Summers sister watched as Buffy kicked him in the knee, making him collapse to the floor. She kicked him again in the gut as he tried to get up.

Daryl tried to get up again, and Buffy kicked him in the face. He's not fazed as he got up and tried to swing at her. Buffy ducked and Daryl tried again, and she ducked again and kicked him in the chest, sending him staggering backward and knocking the burner to the floor, igniting the gasoline.

"Buffy!" Lizzy looked over and saw Xander,

"Get Lizzy!" Buffy told him as she continued to fight Daryl.

Xander ran over to the blonde and tried to untie the restraints. The flames around the gurney began to get higher and Liz began to panic. He gave up before shoving the gurney and hopping on as the two went through the flames and through the door. Ms. Calendar was there and she was able to get the restraints off of Liz.

She brought Lizzy outside out while Xander stayed for Buffy. Ms. Calendar called 911 when the building went into flames and Buffy, Xander, and Chris came out. The Summers sisters stood by a police car and saw Angel rushing towards them, "I saw the fire. I figured you'd be here. Is everyone okay?"

"Yeah. We're okay." Buffy answered before Liz went over and wrapped her arms around Angel's torso.

"I'm sorry." She whispered. Buffy went to go to Chris while Angel and Liz walked through the cemetery,

"I just don't want to be the weaker sister of the Slayer." She explained to him,

"But you're not, Lizzy. You're anything but."

"I know I'm not as strong as her, that I can't fight all my battles, but I don't need you coming to fight them for me." She told Angel,

"I just don't want you to-" He began but Liz interrupted him,

"To die? Angel, you're a vampire. I'm a human. I'm bound to die at some point. That's just how life is. And if I die trying to protect someone or kill a vampire, it's worth it. You just have to accept that I won't live forever, Angel." The blonde ranted and he wrapped his arms around her,

"But that doesn't mean I want you dying anytime soon." He said before kissing her.
