Y/S/N – Your Sister's Name
Y/B/N – Your Brother's Name
(If you don't have any siblings please just make a name up, maybe use a name of a younger relative you have or something, thank you. Also, as you can probably guess, the siblings and cousins will be younger than you are so bear that in mind.)
Y/C/N – Your Cousin's Name
Ashton:
"Ashton! Are you looking forward to seeing me in the play?" your little sister Y/S/N asks your boyfriend as you all walk to her primary school along with your parents. "Of course I am sweetheart, you'll be just great, I know it," he smiles. "So what role do you have Y/S/N?" you ask her. "I'm an angel," she tells you. "Oh I know," you lightly laugh, and Ashton joins in also. "Do you know all of your lines?" he asks her. "Yes," she smiles before reciting her first few lines to him. "See, I said you'd be great, and you will be!" When you all arrive at her school, she has to go off to one of the classrooms whilst the audience take a seat. "Thank you for coming tonight," you say to your boyfriend as you sit waiting for the play to start. "It's fine, but why wouldn't I have come?" he asks. "I don't know, but she loves you and it means a lot to her that you have come to see her," you tell him and he smiles before resting his head on your shoulder. "I know it does, and I love her too," he tells you, making you smile. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls," one of the teachers announces, getting the audience's attention, "We would like to present to you our Christmas nativity!"
Calum:
"You don't have to come if you don't want to," you tell your boyfriend Calum as you get ready to go out to see your little cousin Y/C/N in his Christmas play at school. "I wouldn't miss it for the world Y/N," he tells you. The two of you finish getting ready before making the short walk to his primary school. You spot your auntie and uncle, his parents, and they tell you that he is with his teachers but that he will be out shortly. When he sees you, he immediately runs to Calum. "Calum!" he smiles as soon as he sees him. "Hi buddy, are you excited?" your boyfriend asks him and he nods in response. "What role do you have?" "I'm a shepherd," Y/C/N tells him. "That's a very important role buddy, I'm glad they gave it to you," Calum smiles as he ruffles your cousins hair, making him laugh. "Y/C/N, we need you to go backstage now, it starts in a few minutes," one of his teachers tells him and he nods. "Good luck buddy, you'll be great," Calum shouts after him and Y/C/N turns around to put his thumbs up to your boyfriend before disappearing backstage. "You're so cute," you smile as you and Calum take your seats. "Am I?" he blushes. "Yes Cal, you are. I love that you get on with him so well," you explain. "He's a good kid," Calum smiles before the play begins.
Luke:
Your parents had invited you and your boyfriend Luke to go and see your younger brother Y/B/N in the Christmas play at school. You weren't too keen on the idea of going, but Luke had become quite close to Y/B/N and you knew that it would mean a lot to him for the two of you to see him perform. "Are you excited? Nervous?" Luke asks him as you all sit in your parents car on the way to his school. "Nervous. Tonight is the first night, I don't want to mess it up on the first night," your brother tells him. "Y/B/N, you'll be fine," you tell him and he gives you a nervous smile. "Did you ever do any of the Christmas plays when you were at school Y/N?" your brother asks you. "Yeah Y/N, you've never mentioned anything," Luke says, raising his eyebrows. "Uurm," you stall, not really knowing what to say. "Well, Y/N in fact played Mary when she was in Reception. Unfortunately she was a bit ill on opening night, and, well, vomited all over poor Joseph and he cried," your Mum tells them both and immediately they start to laugh. "Mum!" you say, rolling your eyes at her that she thankfully cannot see because she is sat in front of you. "I would just like to say that I was five, and had a really bad stomach bug," you explain, just to make the story sound less stupid. "On the plus side Y/B/N, you won't be as bad in your play as I was in mine."
Michael:
You and your boyfriend Michael were on your way to see your youngest cousin Y/C/N in her Christmas Nativity at her primary school. Her parents had invited you because they know how much she loves you and Michael and thought that it might prevent her from being too nervous. "Michael!" she smiles as soon as she sees the two of you, running up to him and giving him a cuddle. He picks her up and spins her around. "So you've got the role of Mary then, huh?" he smiles and she blushes. "Yeah," she says, "I'm a bit nervous." "What about sweetie?" he questions. "I don't want to mess up." "You'll be great, besides you look very cute in your costume," he tells her and she gives him the biggest smile. "Mikey, what have you done to your hair? Why is it red?" she asks him and you can't help but laugh. "Well I thought I would dye it red for Santa," he tells her and she giggles, "I wanted to show him how much I love Christmas." "You're very silly Michael," she laughs as he places her back down on the ground as it is almost time for their play to start. "I know. Anyway you, good luck," he smiles, putting his hand out in front of him. She gives him a high five before running off towards her teachers, and then you and him take a seat along with her parents.
