I woke the next morning with a note on Vaughn's side of the bed he slept in saying come to the dining room there's a little something for you love Vaughn xxx. I smiled at the note and got out of bed. I got dressed and tied my red bandana how I have always done, opened the bedroom curtains and stepped out of my room. Instantly I could smell something nice that was coming from the dining room. I followed the smell till I reached the dining room to see Vaughn placing down a plate with an all day breakfast on. "Morning! Did you sleep well?" Vaughn said sitting down to his all day breakfast and I sat down as well. "Yeah. Thanks" I started eating my all day breakfast as well. It was so delicous. I enjoyed every bite of it "You must be hungry." I looked up and saw Vaughn chuckling to himself. "Yeah. It's really nice." I smiled. "Did I end up hogging the bed last night?" Vaughn looked at me and smiled. "You know. You didn't actually. I stayed up most of the night watching over you. and then fell asleep myself." Vaughn rubbed the back of his neck "Oh look at the time. I'm sorry, but I need to get back down to Mirabelle's before she ends up worrying about me. I might see you later on in the day." Vaughn stood up and put his hat and jacket on and kissed me on the cheek "see you later" I smiled and walked him to the door. "Bye Vaughn." I watched him walk down the road to Mirabelle's until he was out of sight. What happened last night was like a dream, I couldn't actually believe I was Vaughn's girlfriend. I stepped inside and finished my breakfast and cleaned the dishes. I knew I'd see Vaughn later on today.
I tended to my crops and thought I'd go out for a stroll around the village and pop in to see some friends and tell them the news about me and Vaughn.
I stopped at Taro's house first and I rang the doorbell and Elliot (Taro's son) opened the door "Hey Elliot is Taro in?" Elliot pushed up his glasses "Yeah let me just get him come on in" I stepped inside and Taro walked out of the kitchen "Oh hello Chelsea! How have you been?" We all sat down so we could talk. "Well I thought I would come down and tell you guys some news." Taro nodded "go on..." I took a deep breath "Me and Vaughn go out." I said nice and calmly. "What Vaughn? Julia's cousin?" Natalie wandered. I nodded "Yeah. That's right. Why?" Elliot stood up and walked over to me "But he's anti-social. And you know that Chelsea." I shook my head at Elliot. "The thing you don't know about Vaughn is. Once you get to know him. He's not really bad at all. He's a really nice guy." Elliot gave out a loud sigh "Whatever you say Chelsea." He the sat back down next to Natalie. "I think I should go now see you Taro." I walked out the door without saying another word.
