I woke up the next morning in the woods still, I raised my head to see if Vaughn was up which he wasn't. I put my head back on the moist grass and took a deep breath. I was so glad that I was with Vaughn again, but I knew I would have to go back to the Sunshine Islands and that would be very soon.
"Chelsea? Chelsea!" I felt like I was ignoring that voice but it was Vaughn, so I looked up to see him. "I thought you were sleeping so I left you alone..." Vaughn smiled "Well c'mon. You have to go now. You have a ranch to look after. I promise I will ring later today." Vaughn kissed me and I piced up my guitar and me and Vaughn set off to the docks.
The woods were on the other side of Mineral town so it was quite a walk to the docks. Me and Vaughn started talking, mainly about the song I wrote for him. Half an hour later we arrived at the docks and I decided to give the written copy of my song to him. He put it in his pocket and kissed me. "Thanks for the photo of you by the way" he chuckled I remembered I snuck a picture of me into his pocket before he left the Sunshine Islands. "Do you realise. I'll always miss you Vaughn. I'm just not happy anymore. Without you i'm just nothing." Vaughn put his finger on my lips to keep me quiet. "sshhh, you don't need to say anymore. I feel the same as well. I hope we do see each other again." Vaughn escorted me to the boat and gave me one more kiss good-bye. I was sure going to miss him. And alot.
This felt like the Sunshine Islands all over again except this time it was my leaving and Vaughn wasn't. A tear ran down my cheek and the boat set off. I was at the back of the boat waving to Vaughn until he disappeared into the morning mist. I sighed and sat down praying that I'll see Vaughn again and not just hear his voice in my dreams and on the phone.
