I got rushed straight into hospital. Vaughn was trying to catch up with me, Doctor Trent and Nurse Ellie. I got settled down. I was so nervous though. I was also in agony. "Chelsea. I'm gonna stay here with you, you know that." I nodded at Vaughn and I started screaming. It was time. Trent and Ellie came in, Vaughn took my hand "Right Chelsea. I need you to push!" I tried pushing and I looked at Vaughn "This is all your fault. You idiot!" I Shouted through my gritting teeth I couldn't stop screaming. "Hang in there Chelsea give me one last push!" I squeezed Vaughn's hand so tightly that he nearly fell to the ground. I finally heard crying it was all over. I was so tired "Congratulations it's a little girl!" Trent smiled at me and handed her to me and Vaughn. "What should we call her?" Vaughn asked. We both looked at her. Sweat was all in my hair and I was a mess, but I didn't care what I looked like "Clarissa. That's what we'll call her." I looked up at Vaughn and he kissed me "Well done. Welcome to the world Clarissa." I never seen Vaughn so happy in our whole relationship (Except the wedding he was really happy then)
Two days later and we could go home with Clarissa. We got home and there standing there was Mirabelle and Julia eager to see Clarissa. "Oh look at her she's so beautiful" I gave her to Mirabelle and Julia came over to me and Vaughn and hugged us both "Congrats you two!" Julia smiled and got handed the baby. Vaughn wrapped his arm around me "I'm sorry I hurt your hand and said it was your fault and called you an idiot." I started to giggle "Awww it's alright. I guess that's what happens at birth. Still my hand hurts and it's been two days" He gave out a chuckle.
We set Clarissa to bed and we settled down in bed ourselves and kissed each other good night. and slowly went off to sleep until Clarissa started crying "Go on cowboy. I've done my bit" I laughed as he made his way to Clarissa in her cot. I smiled at him "Hey we finally have a family now" I said while Vaughn was taking Clarissa out of the cot. "Yeah. If we end up having another child don't try to break my hand." And he started laughing I stuck my tongue out at him and he did the same.
