Chelsea's POV:
It was now six months ever since Vaughn had left the Sunshine Islands and to make it even worse. Tonight is the Starry night festival, where you get to go with that special someone. Which was Vaughn but he's not here. Every boy on the Island asked me to go with them and I refused to go with them so now they're with some other girl. I'm the only one without a date to the Starry night festival.
Vaughn's POV:
Everyone in Mineral Town was going on about the Starry night festival. I feel bad for Chelsea. She won't be able to spend that one and important day with me. Worst of all I had to work that night. I kept asking Rick to let me get the day off. But no I couldn't. One of my work colleagues came up to me "Hey Vaughn. I have an idea for you to see your girl." He handed me a blue feather. I looked at it "Go and tell him you're gonna propose to her and he should let you go. A romantic night under the stars and you propose. C'mon what do you think. I'm great aren't I?!" I nodded. Rick would let you get off if you had a reason. Even proposing. "Okay. I'll do it." I marched over to Rick. "Sir. I want to go and propose to my girlfriend. I love her so much. I want to be more to her than just her boyfriend." Rick turned round to face me. "Hmmmm... Vaughn I know what you're up to..." My eyes widened "Y-y-you do? Rick nodded "I have been very stupid about this. It's your choice if you want to go, but that means the promotion goes bye-bye." I had such a hard choice to make now. what was I going to do.
Chelsea's POV:
I sat on my couch crying into my hands. the Starry night festival was going on now. I looked at my clock which said 9:30pm. I sighed I had no hope. All was lost. My first Starry night festival, blew up into pieces. I heard a knock on the door. I leapt to my feet hoping it was Vaughn. I ran to the door and answered it and it was just Julia. "Hey Chelsea. I'm gonna ask you this one more time. Would you like to go to the Starry night festival with me and Elliot. I can't stand it when your on your own on a very special evening." I sighed. My hopes had built up and fell down once again "I'm sorry Julia. Maybe next year." I then closed the door on her and flopped myself onto the couch. and carried on with my crying
An hour later went by and the door knocked once again. I opened the door and said "Julia go away you know what I'm gonna say no!" I looked up and gulped and smiled. Was it actually good to be true. "Last time I checked I'm not Julia." I couldn't stop smiling "VAUGHN!" I shouted running into his arms. "Oh you came back!" I could feel his arms wrap around me "Oh Chelsea. I missed you so much.
back in Mineral town (Vaughn's POV)
I looked at Rick "None of them choices Rick. I quit this stupid promotion!" and I left "I'm going back to where I belong and that's working at Mirabelle's store!" I said turning around and fihished walking to the docks remebering that I had the blue feather.
Chelsea's POV:
"Chelsea, would you like to go to the Starry night festival dance with me" I smiled. Vaughn pulled out a white tuxedo from behind his back. "Yes Vaughn I will be glad to." Me and Vaughn stepped inside and Vaughn went into the bathroom to put on his outfit and I went to my bedroom. I went to my wardrobe and pulled out a long pink silk dress with a lilac ribbon around the waist area with pink high heels and a pink ribbon to tie my my hair back. I felt that all of my dreams were coming true.
I stepped out of my room and Vaughn was in the living room in his (super sexy) tuxedo. "Wow. You look amazing." Vaughn held his hand out for me and I took it in mine "So do you Vaughn. Right then let's go." Me and Vaughn left to go to the dance.
