"Dean, the therapist told you to take them, so do it." Castiel said stubbornly to Dean as the Winchester turned his head away, refusing to look at Castiel and the orange bottle he held in his hands. The hunter's eyes were dark, surrounded by black circles, and his skin was pale from the lack of sleep. Even Castiel's magic couldn't lull him for long, and he had finally broke and forced him to get some help.
"I don't need them. I can live perfectly well without depression medicine." Dean growled in response, trying to get up to get away from Castiel. He had to use the arm of the couch as a leverage, but slowly made his way into his kitchen, Castiel easily following behind.
"It's just until you're completely healed, Dean." Castiel huffed in response, opening the bottle and taking out one of the pills. "It's only medicine, and you'll feel better. I can see that you're depressed, even without using my grace."
Dean gave him a glare before looking at the pill in the palm of Castiel's hand. "I'm not depressed, and I don't trust this medicine crap that the doctors are always trying to prescribe. What if it makes me dull and we have another angel invasion?" Dean reasoned, leaning against the counter as his legs began to shake.
"Dean, you're already weak. Being dull is the least of your worries at the moment." Castiel snapped, flinching at the hurt look that crossed over Dean's face. He didn't want to hurt Dean, but getting him to understand was just so difficult at times.
"Just give me the damn medicine." Dean snapped back, grabbing the bottle from Castiel's hand and forcing it open. He dry-swallowed one of the pills before he closed it back, dropping it to the floor and limping away with a snarl on his face. Castiel sighed, his heart stinging as he leaned down, picking up the bottle and putting it away.

Over the next few days, Dean's depression slowly came under control, and he even began making jokes with both Sam and Castiel. Castiel was still a bit hesitant about being around Dean, especially when he saw a flux in his soul as his mood changed, but even he began warming back up to him, especially after Dean apologized.
Today, they were taking a stroll along the campus of the school after class, their hands linked as they talked about everything, but nothing at the same time, watching as the sun slowly began creeping from its peak and heading towards the time of its set.
They stopped on the edge of the campus, the area cut through by a small creek that flowed steadily underneath a bridge that led to the river further out of town. They headed away from the bridge, going upstream and falling into silence as they watched the buzzing of the dragonflies float past.
They sat against one of the trees that rested at the shoreline of the creek, its roots arching into the water and allowing them to rest with the tips of their shoes only inches from the water. Castiel, at Dean's request, slid off his trench coat and let his wings flutter out, arching around them and pulling Dean close to Castiel. The other wing floated gently into the water, letting the feathers get washed clean by the gentle current.
Castiel leaned his head on Dean's shoulder, letting his eyes fluttered closed as the water eased comfort into his spine, easing a sigh from his lips. Dean pressed his lips softly to temple, taking in a soft breath of contentment.
"Does that feel good?" Dean asked, and Castiel slowly opened his eyes, looking over at Dean with sharp blue eyes. He let out a soft nod, his wing fluttering as the cool water made the feathers shiver. Dean pulled away, just enough where he could lean over Castiel, brushing the wet wing with an arch of his fingers in a gentle cleaning.
"Turn your back to the water then. I'll clean your wings for you." Dean suggested, slowly easing his way to Castiel's side as the angel complied. Both wings slowly submerged themselves in the water, cool and inviting as Dean ran his fingers over them again and again, dislodging any dirt that had caught the feathers throughout the day and leaving them feeling light despite the wetness.
Eventually, Dean eased them out of the water and let Castiel raise them up, the air enveloping the wings and making him shivers as a chill run through. Dean shakily eased himself in front of Castiel, smiling and leaning forwards, pecking his lips as Castiel fluttered his wings, air drying them.
"Did I get them completely clean?" Dean asked, tipping his head. Castiel swept them out and around them, the feathers slick and sparkling from the water, perfectly clean. He smiled, nodding and flapping them slowly, forming a small wind that breezed over Dean's face.
"You did perfect, Dean." Castiel commented, standing and holding out his hand. Dean took it, easing himself slowly to his feet and clutching to Castiel's sleeve to remain standing. Castiel linked his arm under Dean's arm to keep him up as his wings shook a bit more water off the feathers before it began folding in place, pressing against his back and flattening as he pulled his trench coat on with one arm before switching and pulling it on the other.
They headed back to the dorms, a smile on both of their faces at the perfectly peaceful day.

So, I apologize for not updating recently again. But! I have finished writing a fan fiction for you guys(It's in my notebook) and I plan to start a lot more as I begin winding down with some of my other fanfics. As you know, I had planned out the chapters for a lot of my stories, but I had to reset my phone, and it was on my memos, so I lost everything, the plans, the chapters I had already written. So, I took a break, made a new YouTube video and thought of a few more books.
So, let me tell you about the plans I have. I'm going to be starting a new Destiel called A Step Away. This is my most planned out book I ever had. I spent two days alone on just research and took an entire notebook to write it in itty bitty writing. I hope you will like it, because I worked really hard on ever aspect of the book.
I also have a sabriel I'm planning out. It's going to be called Talk to Me and it's about Gabriel meeting Sam, a young teenager that doesn't speak. I hope you will enjoy it cause it's going to be so cute.
And I will get to the Hogwarts Destiel and Sabriel at some point. It's just going to take a lot of planning and thought before I do anything.
