- quick note, I'm going on a cruise on the 10th and won't be back until the 23rd so none of my books will be updated. But I will be writing a lot while I'm away so more chapters will be ready to be updated more often! -
I sat in front of my TV with the pile of presents next to me while I waited for Luke to answer the Skype call we had agreed on.
It rang through and Luke's face appeared on my TV screen. "Luke!" I exclaim. "How was your flight?"
"Boring. I am pretty sure I slept the whole way." He laughed and noticed the presents around me. "Shall we get into opening the gifts then?" I nodded and picked up the first one closest to me, inside was a cute jumpsuit that had words printed on it; Sorry Daddy (you now have 2 bosses) I showed it to Luke and couldn't stop laughing.
"I think this is my new favourite jumpsuit. And look! They even got us baby booties!" I placed the wrapping paper to the side and saw Cooper taking the paper away before laying on it and falling asleep.
Luke and I ended up calling each other for almost five hours before my mum came in and handed me my dinner since Liz and mum were heading out to the movies.
"We have a gig later, and so do the girls. You may want to get dressed for your Skype call with the crowd, and also maybe cleaning up the room." He laughed. "Probably not best if they see our master bedroom messy."
"They already know you're messy, so they might just think it's your fault." I smirked and hoisted myself up, holding onto the bed frame.
"You alright? That didn't look easy?"
"It's never easy when you're 6 months pregnant." I said and begin tidying the room, picking up Cooper and placing him on the bed.
"Please don't strain yourself. I can't help you from the other side of the world."
"I know I know!" I laugh. "Lilly is texting me, she wants to know if she can intervene our call." He stood up and opened the door, Lilly waltzing in and sitting down.
"I see you're not dressed yet." She teased. "Dress in something comfortable, but still nice so no tracksuit pants."
"I wasn't thinking of that!" I defended.
"Of course you weren't." She teased. "I have to head to the arena. Make sure you are ready to call at 8:30, it will be after the fourth song and your instrumental recording will be playing on the screen at the same time as our set."
"Got it. Should probably get dressed then." I said and walked to my wardrobe, pulling out the first set of clothes I found suitable for tonight. Lilly left so I could get changed and I began taking off my clothes when I heard the door open from Luke's end of the call. Luckily I had my underwater on so it didn't really bother me, but Luke lowered his screen.
"Dude! What are you doing in here!"
"I was looking for Lilly." I heard Calum say. "What are you doing? And why is your screen lowered? Are you watching naughty things online Luke! Missing your wife already?"
"Of course I miss my wife Calum, what kind of messed up person would I be I didn't miss my wife. And no, I'm not watching naughty things." He lifted the screen. "Unless you think my wife is naughty for some reason."
"Bree!" He exclaimed before covering his mouth. "I'm so sorry, I was just teasing I swear!"
"I know Calum, don't worry." I say. "He lowered the screen because I was getting changed and you walked in. Lilly left to go to the arena." He waved good bye before leaving. "Luke you should leave too, you need to get going to the arena for your show. I don't want to make you late. I love you and I'll speak to you soon."
I was on Twitter for the whole show, the girls tweeted a hashtag before going on stage, and I'm guessing no they told fans at the show about a special treat because everyone was going crazy.
I jumped when the Skype call came through. I sat on my bed and clicked to accept the call. The camera guy had a portable camera hooked up to it with my face on the big screen. I waved into the camera and heard the crowd cheer.
"How are you all doing tonight?" And they cheered again. "I'm sorry I can't be there in person for the rest tour, but I'll be calling in for every show to see how you're going."
"Glad to hear from you Bree!" Sky said. "Now at every show we are going to pick three random seats in the audience and you get to ask Bree a question. So make sure you have a question ready in case you have been picked!"
"We have stage crew positioned around the arena with microphones so you can be heard if you're picked." I heard Lilly say. "Ash, pick a seat number." She said and held a container with bits of paper in it.
"Section J, row E, seat 7." She read out, and the stage crew moved to find the fan.
"Oh my gosh." I heard her exclaim. "I love you girls so much! Uh my name is Jaz, I want to ask you Bree have you thought of any names for you baby?"
"Luke and I have had many discussions on this." I smiled. "We've narrowed it down to one boys name, Noah, and one girls name, Charlotte." Sky called out another seat and the stage crew headed over to her with the microphone.
"Did you want to be a soloist or in a band when you first started?" She asked me.
"I've always wanted to be in a band. When I was younger I hated the thought of performing by myself, but while I was starting out it was okay, and then I met Lilly and Ash and I never looked back."
"And one more question." Ash said and called another seat.
"Hi uh my name is Jessica, and I was just wondering what it was like when you first started talking to Luke?"
"It was different that's for sure!" I laugh. "I had my dad telling me it wasn't a good idea, but Luke and I spoke everyday, and we got closer and closer. Harmony used to make fun of us, of course in a friendly way. But when we met for the second time it was like Luke and I had known each other for years. I felt so comfortable around him, and could tell all my secrets to him."
"Thank you all for your questions." Lilly said to the audience. "Every night we will be checking in with Bree and her life at home. Take care Bree, don't stress the baby please!" She laughed.
"I'll be more stressed than the baby!" I respond.
"Talk soon!" Sky smiled and the connection ended.
Hey! So this chapter probably isn't as good as the other ones and I'm sorry! It was a bit of a filler chapter.
