"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."

The stupidity of people can be exasperating to the point in which makes me want to pull my hair out.

When I though I've found the new threshold of stupidity something or someone would come along to raise it even further.

Such an event is currently happening just a alleyway below. In broad daylight three men are cornering a male Academy student.

Perched precariously above them for a few seconds to see if the boy could get himself out of the mess, but as the seconds go by it seemed that he wouldn't be able to.

Letting out a annoyed sigh I stood up, while I slapped on the most unhinged smile I could produce. Unsheathing my katana I leaped down from the rooftop a couple of feet in-front of the boy.

"Now as you can see by my shiny headband here I'm a leaf Shinobi. You an either surrender now or be taken in by force, and please do refuse. I'm in a perfect mood to cut off a hand or two before I drop you off at interrogation." Twirling my blade a few times to drive home the message.

The three men looked at each other.

-------

You know that thing I mentioned earlier about the levels of stupidity? Well the the men were stupid enough to to think they could just overwhelm me.

Let's say for time's sake that those men are missing a few limbs. Including their family jewels. Although to be fair they were electrically burned off.

Sealing the men up quickly with a bit of blood to keep them alive within the scroll.

Turning back towards the kid. Whom was in fact older than me, but being a Shinobi does have its perks.

Today is just full of surprises.

The kid instead of whimpering like I expected he looked at me like I'm Kami.

Rolling my eyes walking towards him I offered him my arm. "I'll drop you off at the hospital."

You would think I just offered him a bag full of money at the way he looked at me.

The kid opened his mouth that led to a long string of hasty gibberish that included a thank you, you're awesome, can you teach me that, and more thank you's.

After the word vomit he took a deep breathe he said, "I am in your debt. Name anything and I will do the best of my abilities to see it done."

Lifting a single brow, peering at the rather average looking boy.

The kid by the looks of it would probably never amount to much more than being a mid-level Chunin without proper motivation.

Well I guess I'll just give him it than. Should be interesting if anything.

"Become an Anbu Black Ops agent. Become the best in your field. That is how you can repay me. Now are you going to take my arm or not?"

He floundered like a fish, but quickly grabbed my arm. With a soft crackle we and the bloody evidence were gone.
