Alien Breed: Impact

Mission 1: Aftermath

The Leopold is damaged beyond repair and with the reactor near its overload point, Conrad is in-route to shut it down. He found an Assault Rifle in a nearby locker and he decided to keep it.

"Hey new toy" said Conrad.

Conrad searched the area he was in and found another clip for his Assault Rifle. He went to the door so he he could proceed to the reactor room but the door fuse was damaged and needed a replacement, in the room next door Conrad found a fuse on the floor and used it to replace the damaged one. Conrad could see a crew member being dragged away by some weird alien life form, he tried to follow them into the next area but the crew member and the life form was gone. Conrad checked his gun and the safety was on, as he flipped the safety off a little bug looking creature was at Conrad's feet.

"Hey little guy," said Conrad

The bug sniffed Conrad and bit him.

"Ow, you piece of shit," said Conrad.

Conrad could see more of them coming towards him from down the hall, he pulls out his pistol and pulls the trigger.

"God I hate those things, I better keep moving if I'm going to shut down the reactor in time, but I'm going to stop at this Intex terminal and resupply on ammo," said Conrad. 

Along the way to the main reactor, Conrad meets another type of alien life form. Conrad thinking it was friendly but after that last encounter he kept his weapon locked and loaded,  he saw the alien eating something. He got closer and he found out that the alien was eating a human corpse. So Conrad started shooting it. Even though he was a retired Military official his military instances never left him. He hit it once and the alien jumped and turned towards Conrad and started running at him. The alien roared when it got hit the first time and when it died. He continued his quest to shut down the main reactor. He made it to the front door of the reactor but he need a torch to fix the door console. He found a mess hall key card on the ground and heads to the mess hall. After entering the mess hall, he found a lot human bodies with more bite marks, he goes to search the bodies to see if they left anything he could use for his journey.In the mess hall found more bodies and deep down he knew that anything with more two arms and two legs was hostile. He found the torch he was looking for and some tape. Taped the torch to his weapon and started heading back to the reactor room door. He returns to the reactor door and using the torch he repairs the door controls and the doors open. In front of him was the main console to shut down the reactor.  He started trying to shut down the reactor but he hit a snag. He had to shut down the two other generators before the main reactor could be shut down. He was on his way to the first generator but the door had short-circuited and needed repairs. At a nearby console on Conrad's left he was able to re-route power and open the door.He followed the hallway to the generator and used the console to shut down the capacitor.  As the capacitor began to shut down so did the lights in the room, at the door Conrad had used, was an envoy, he started using a console that was on the wall trying to restore power to the room but could not. Conrad could hear the beeping for the console he was using and rushed to try to get him to see if there were anymore survivor but when he was just 20 feet from him. An alien ambushed Conrad and another had grabbed the envoy and took him through the wall. He walk to the wall and the alien had spat out the envoy's arm, leg and head.

"Damn, sorry my friend I wasn't fast enough," said Conrad.

He returned to the reactor room to confirm the generator shut down, then repeated the process with the second generator. This time the door to the second generator was under lockdown because of the lethal gas levels. Mia contacts him and says:

"Those gas levels are too dangerous for you, head back to the reactor room and there is a console that'll active the fans to remove the gas to allow you to pass and shut down the generator."

Following Mia's instruction, he was able to enter the room and shut it down with some aliens in need of killing. He returned to confirm the second generator shut down and was able to shut down the main reactor but the process was going to take two minutes.

"Lockdown active, doors sealed," said the system.

The aliens started crawling out of the ground and the walls of the ship. Conrad leaped into action and started blasting every aliens in sight. After a few minutes of fighting, he stopped to catch his breath and headed to an elevator to get out of there. After facing some more ugly aliens and re-starting the main generator that powered the elevator, he finally made it to the elevator and gave the Leopold a bit more time.
