Mission 3: Re-boot

Asteroids started bombarding the ship. 

"Conrad to bridge. Don't tell me we just collided with another ghost ship," asks Conrad.

"That would be an asteroid. We have drifted into a belt circling the ice-planet. A former moon most likely," responds Mia

"Sounds fascinating. I'll give you a holler when I'm through here," says Conrad.

"Conrad this is important. Mainframe is one deck below you. Paxton appears to be dead, and you are the closest man I have. I need you to make your way down and get the mainframe online. And you will have to hurry," says Mia.

"Why," asks Conrad

"Because the hulk we are attached to is dragging us towards the planet's atmosphere. Without the mainframe online, the Leopold's engines are just scrap metal. Get them online and get to Engine Control," responds Mia.

"If I'm not done in an hour, guess I'll give you ring," says Conrad.

"Best of luck, Conrad. I'm coun..." replays Mia.

Conrad cuts her off and hears footsteps to his left and points his weapon to the left.

"Whoooahh! Ship's Medic," he said.

"Care to tell me why you're skulking around in the dark?" asks Conrad.

"I came down here to see if there were any..." replays the Medic.

Conrad hands him a bag full of medical supplies and says

"Here, syringes are by the back wall. Careful of the elevator."

He walks passed him to head to the engine room and hears

"You don't want any for that arm," asks the Medic.

Conrad shoots a few rounds into the door, kicks it and continues forward. Conrad had to stop cause he swears that he saw his wife turn a corner that lead to the main reactor room. 

"What the hell, Ash, WAIT" yells Conrad. 

He ran after her and diverted off his objective, after following his wife to the reactor room he found her being attacked by the aliens. Conrad leaped into action and saved his wife.  

"Baby are you ok," asks Conrad.

"I'm fine sweetie, weren't you supposed to be heading to the engine room," his wife replied.

"Shit, yea, but I couldn't have left you, you would've been killed" answers Conrad.

"Let me help you there's a shortcut that'll lead to the main generator that powers the entire ship, but you'll have to power it up in order for you to get the engine online," his wife explains. 

"Lead the way baby I'll protect you," says Conrad.

Under Conrad's protection, Ashton showed him the way to the generator and with his help restored power to the elevator that'll lead Conrad to engine room. The oxygen supply in the area Conrad was in began to malfunction. His wife began to freak out and started running towards the elevator.

"ASHTON WAIT," yells Conrad

Conrad chased after her but the aliens blocked his path, he pulled his flamethrower that he found in a locker on his way to the generator and started burning every single alien.

"Smells like chicken but I'm not eating your nasty ass," says Conrad and continues after his wife.

Finally he could see his wife in the elevator and the area around him was falling apart. He bolts for the elevator dodging debris and blasting aliens with his shotgun. The platform that Conrad was running on had collapsed right as he jumped in the elevator with his wife.

"I love you Ethan never forget it," says Ashton as she touched his face. Conrad closed his eyes and rub his face on her hand but when he opened his eyes, his wife was gone. 

The elevator reached the engine and Conrad went to in to try to activate it but heared voices.
