"Respond" says Conrad
Back on the bridge of the Leopold.
"Still among the living, Chief Engineer," asks Mia.
"That's one way of looking at it," he replies.
"We are dropping out of orbit. The planet's gravity is already accelerating our decent faster than expected. What is your current position," she says.
"The cooling chamber. Seems clear," he says as he continues forward.
"Conrad? What is wrong," she asks.
"Nothing," he replies.
"Are the core systems intact," asks Mia.
"Let's find out," Conrad replies.
He presses a button that brings up the cooling pool rods that keeps the pools from overheating but something came out along with the rods. A creature 10-20 times the size of a regular octopus.
"I'll call you back, DISCONNECT," yells Conrad.
