(Freshman year again)

In our history class they were going over asylums and prisons... you were excited about it. Probably because you belong in one of those and you very well know it.

You did a presentation on modern prison security. You told me, afterwards, that you had always wanted to attempt to break out of prison. You had a plan. It made no sense to me, and I told you so.

You said, "The building is strong, but the people are not... people are not. The way in is through them..." somehow your plan was based on this.

"Come on, that's insane," I said. "You read people well but you can't count on them to have the right weaknesses..."

"That's the fun of it. The gamble." You had a distant expression and it somewhat bothered me. Apparently normal life was not enough of a challenge for you; you had to create your own ridiculous opposition. As far as I could tell, you were rigging the situation to be against you in every way.

"You're finding the most unlikely way to go about things," I observed.

"Exactly," You said, eyes glittering.

"That's very Tom Sawyer of you."

You laughed.

Apparently Jackson didn't even know who Tom Sawyer was. He has studied more in the area of Science and Math and the only history he pays attention to were the great inventors. He's certainly headed the way of an inventor, but he plays nicely. He doesn't base his theories on the weakness of those around him, haha. I kind of miss your mischief, but it's all right. Jackson isn't quite the jack-of-all-trades that you are (ironic!) but he knows a lot about his subjects, and we can still have very intelligent discussions.
