At first when I wake up I don't remember where I am. I mean, this is just happening so fast. Then I remember, Griffin, apartment, ceremony, everything.
Today is the day when we'll start training for being outside explorers.
"Remember, we have to be there at eleven." I remind Griffin. "Right", he says as he pokes his out of the doorway of our bedroom.

We travel to floor 940,000, the top floor.
We get there a little before we were supposed to be here. "Oh hello", a government official says. Griffin nods at him. We are actually the first ones there. Although there are only six of us, including us.
I walk over to the corner were there is coffee.
(Okay, now guys we are going to go to Griffin's point of view, I won't do this a lot.)
"Hi", I say to the official. "Hello, do you need something?" "Yes", I hold out my hand with his palm open and motion for him to do the same. Then when he does it I give him a stack of money. He looks at me quizzicaly. "I know that we get partners, so I want you to make her my partner. I point to Aarika. The official nods his head, he seems to know who I am.
(Okay back to Aarika.)
I turn around to see Griffin point to me and the official holding a stack of money. But I decide to let it go, probably official business. (That was kind of stupid of her.)
Right then the next four people come in, it looks like they are all friends, although I don't know any of them.
About two minutes later, the instructor begins. He tells us some rules, instructions, and also does a group test for the simulation of going out in the wilderness (that takes two hours.) Basically it goes on for a long time.
(Just to tell you, before they go outside they do a simulated version of the wilderness (not the one you just heard about, they do it with their partners.) Its basically a pre test, they take it later as a final test though. Then they go into a simulated version, with obstacles in the wilderness. Also just to tell you it dosen't look like minecraft, it looks real. And that's what he's talking about.)
"Okay partners, Emma and Chelsea", the two girls squeal. "Eric and Meagan, and..." I already know what he's going to say. "Griffin and Aarika."
Griffin nudges me and smiles. I smile back.
"Okay guys so you guys sit there, you guys sit there and you guys sit there." He keeps pointing to chairs in front of computers.
"So ya ready to do it on your own?" He says to me and Griffin.
"We're ready."

RomanceI stand up very straight, my heart beating like a drum. The first few girls start to file in. I see a flow of the dresses colors all coming together. Finally its my turn. I step into the room and feel its light coming onto me.
