Chapter 3

(Okay just to tell you guys there something interesting this chapter. Read it to find out!!!! :-D)

A government official leads us into the chamber. He opens it with a key and it slams behind us.

"So...", Griffin says as he stares at his feet.

"Okay would you be this awkward if I wasn't the presidents son?" He asks.

I don't know why I'm awkward and angry, but I am.

"Hey you were the one who didn't tell me." I say. "Well why does that matter."

I pause. "It just... does."

I start to loose my energy.

"Okay well now you know and since we are together for life I think we should start to get to know eachother."

"Fine", I sit on the bed while he sits on a stack of bean bag chairs and blankets.

"Okay so..."

I spit out my coke, laugh, then gasp for air.

"You really did that!" "Yup, my friends called me Mr. important boy for years."

Three hours ago I would have said that Griffin would be the last person I would want to see, but know I realize that he's funny, sweet, kind of a dork, and not stuck up like I would imagine the presidents son would be like.

"Okay your turn, your most embarrassing story."

"Okay so there was this one time I was..., oh never mind." "C'mon, tell me." "No", I say defiantly.

He gets up and comes over. And starts tickling me. "Stop, stop," I gasp. Of course he guessed my weakness.

Then he collapses next to me on the bed.

"You know this has been one of the best nights I've had in awhile." He suddenly becomes serious. "Everyone thinks that when you are in the presidents family, you lead a glamorous life. But its really just a lot of of stupid reporters working for stupid magazines."

"Hey", I lean over on my stomach. "I don't know what it's like for you, but it must be hell. Although, if all those stinkin' reporters made you who you are today. Then I'm glad.

(Okay sorry, there is something I forgot to tell you guys. The couples actually have to spend the night after the ceremony, then the next day, then the next night.)

I fall asleep quickly after the pills were off, Griffin falls asleep on the beab bags.

When I wake up I turn on the TV. I have never seen one this big before.

A very early Disney movie comes on, its probably older than any of the movies I've watched.

There is a girl who is wearing a blue dress and dancing abd singing in an ice castle. Now there is a brown haired girl with a guy.

I watch this movie until its done. I really like it because at the end the sisters become friends at the end. I don't have any brother's or sisters, but I still understand.

Right then I realize that Griffin has been watching me, and also that I've been crying. (A very bad combination.)

"Yes..." I say. He seems to come out of a daze.

"Wait what?" He says.

I stare at him and raise my eyebrows. He seems to get it.

"Oh sorry." Griffin says as he blushes. "It's fine."

"So what are we going to do today?" He says quickly as he changes the subject.

Before I can say anything. The TV screen changes and a list of things come up.

I look at Griffin quizzicaly. I shrug.

It reads: pool in the closet, ping pong and tennis in left door, quiz room right door, and library also left door.

"Ummm, well I guess that answers your question", I say. "So which one do you want do?" "Well do you want to go to the pool", he asks. "Sure, so I wonder where the bathing suits are."

"The bathing suits are in the hallway closet." This time the TV speaks.

"Whoa, did you know the TV'S could do that?" I ask. "Yeah they do that were I live." He says.

"Rich people", I mutter.

Griffin is already at the hallway closet looking for swimsuits. "I found two", he says. He hands me a skimpy bikini.
"I am not wearing that", I say.

"It's the only one," he says in an unconvincing innocent voice.

"Fine."

We walk to the pool.

"I feel naked", I say. "As I said, it was the only one." I glare at him. He smiles innocently. I can't help but laugh now.

We open the doors.

"Oh my gosh", I say.

Its a full water park. It has seven slides, three hot tubs one as big as a regular pool, two giant regular pools, and another 17 feet deep regular pool with a playground partially underwater!

"Where do you want to start." Griffin asks. Even though everything looks so awesome, I've always started in the hot tubs even when I was a little girl at the community pool.

"The hot tubs." I say. "Me too." "Really?" "No. But I do like hot tubs."

Griffin and I play for hours. Its so much fun, especially the underground playground.

"Are you ready to go back in", he asks. "Yeah, I'm freezing!"

He wraps his arms around me.

At first I almost pull away, but his arms feel comforting and nice. I turn around so we are facing one another. He leans down and kisses me.

I know it's early but I already really like him.

I take a shower, then go back to the main room (the one with the bedroom.)

Griffin is already sitting criss-criss on the bed watching a movie. I climb on to the bed with him and lay my head in his lap.

"Hey", he says as he turns the TV off. "You didn't have to turn it off", I say.

"But I wanted to spend time with you", Griffin says as he tickles me. After he learned that it was my weakness he's been doing it a lot.

"So, what do you want to do." He asks. "Can we just take a nap." I ask. "Sure." He smiles happily.

We lay like that for awhile.

I am very happy.
