Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass.
It’s about learning to Dance in the Rain.

Matt’s POV
*Flashback*
“Landon give me my teddy back!” A five year old me cried and tears welled once again in my eyes.
“No Libby not until you say sorry to N!” He stuck his tongue out at me.
“But he was being mean to me!” I cried out again.
“Landon just give her, her teddy back!” A seven year old boy shouted. One of his front teeth were missing and his brown hair was cut short.
“But N!” Landon whined.
“Don’t but me!” N laughed. “Give it back to Lib.”
“You know I hate being called Lib!” I shrieked. I ran to N and tackled him to the ground and started ticking him.
“S-stop!” He laughed out. “P-pl-pl-please! Stop! I-I b-b-beg you!” He stuttered out.
“Libby!” Landon giggled. “Leave him alone!”
“But he called me Lib! I hate being called Lib!” I whined and moved away from the boys.
I rubbed my elbow something I did when I was nervous. “Fine take you’re teddy!” Landon through the Mickey mouse teddy at me and I scrambled to grab it.
“Mickey!” I cried out and hugged the toy to my chest.
“Landon that was mean.” N scowled Landon. “Say sorry.”
“Sorry Libby.” Landon muttered to me and shuffled on his feet.
I wiped a stray tear and took a step back. “I forgive you Lan.” I gave him a small smile and used my nickname for him to show I forgave him. I turned to N and gave the same small smile.
“Aren’t you going to say thanks to me?” N chuckled and I blushed.
“No,” I said with a pout. “You were mean to me!”
His and Landon’s eyes narrowed at me and I felt small under their gaze. “Libby,” Landon laughed at me.
“Libby,” N sand out and I wanted to sway. He had an amazing voice his Mama would compare him to an angel with his voice.
I backed up and rubbed my elbow again. Their looks were making me nervous. “W-w-wha-what?” I stuttered out and blushed.
They stalked towards me and my five year old self did they only thing I knew I could do. I ran. They ran after me and I started giggling and tripping over my own feet.
I screamed when arms wrapped around me and then burst into laughter when they stated tickling me.
“You going to say thank you now?” N laughed.
“Yeah Libby!” Landon chuckled and tickled me harder.
“O-ok! I’ll s-say th-tha-tha-than-thank you!” I gasped out and clutched my sides. They both pulled back and let me catch my breath.
“I’m waiting,” Niall sang out and I playfully glared at him. “I’m waiting Libby.” He whisphered in my ear and I pushed him away before smiling at him.
“Thanks for getting Mickey back, Niall.”
*Flashback over*
I bolted upright, sweat pouring down my face. Another stupid memory. A memory I so desperately wanted to forget.
