"CODY YOU'RE UP!" Cody stroked his hair to the side as he stepped forward holding his hands out for his 3dmg. "Alright you do know how to put this on right?" Cody ignored the instructor and put his 3dmg on and then saluted and fell back into line as the instructor went down the line giving everyone else their gear. "Hmph you guys watch closely... I'm gonna destroy this training!!!" Mike fastened his gear and and turned smiling at Ace and the others. "Shut up Mike... you're probably gonna get killed by one of these fake titans, and they're only boards!"
"Heh wow Ace that's kind of harsh." Jay put his gear on and looked at his blades closely. "This... is... awesome..." Brandon walked over to Cody. "You're holding your blades wrong..." Cody gave Brandon a cold glare "Maybe to you... but this is the way I was taught to use my gear..." Brandon shrugged "don't know who taught you but they must've been an idiot." Cody scoffed and walked away "I don't have time for your shit..." Cody walked towards Sean and Saturi with and faint smile on his face.
Ken and Curt fell in line next to Ace and Mike so they picked up on conversation over something stupid like Ken's mixtape... which was nonexistent. "ALRIGHT YOU MAGGOTS!!! WATCH VERY CLOSELY NOW!" the instructor pointed to a man in a branch who was fitted with 3dmg, the man flipped out of the tree and hooked onto a nearby tree reeling towards it and flipping off of it upon reaching it.
"Did you all see that? you're gonna learn how to use your gear like a true scout, or garrison... or military police whatever you want to be." The instructor looked at a list and began going to the list skipping all of the characters who aren't important to the plot of course.
"Alright Ace you're up... rules are simple use your gear to make it around and cut deeply into the titans nape, you can get points depending on the deepness of your cut. the deeper the cut the more points you earn." Ace tilted his head side to side and did a few squats before he was ready. He then pulled his blades out of their holder and pulled the trigger as a wire fired out quickly. It stuck to a tree and pulled him forward quickly, without any time to react he smacked directly into the tree. "oooh... that had to hurt..." the instructor looked at his clipboard flipping a few pages. "oh... it seems as though I skipped the most important test of all... the first test... which would be the 3DMG aptitude evaluation test..." Ace was carried away on a stretcher and his wounds were patched up.
"Alright to the aptitude test area, just follow me" Brian looked at the aptitude tester in awe, it was a large thing that had wife's coming done from both sides, on the top were two winders which would allow the individual to be hoisted up so they may maintain their balance. "Now this is possibly the most important training in all of your 3 years... so listen up if you can't stay up right then you might as well just leave because you're not even worthy of being bait!" Brian was the first to go he fastened the practice gear around his waist as the instructors fasted the wires to his belt. "Alright this should be fairly simple just try to keep your balance or fail." Brian kept a wobbly balance but he was still balanced so he ended up passing with a high score of about 112, 200 being the highest.
Jay was next, he kept his balance but swayed back and forth uneasily, he earned a score of about 141. Mike was the next to take do the training, he kept a controlled balance and swayed back and forth without paying attention with his legs spread out he ended up kicking the instructor in the face. For his carelessness he got a score of 92. Next was Cody, he effortlessly gained balance and swayed back and forth effortlessly, the operator was ordered to "spice things up" and Cody ended up swaying back and forth at abnormal heights when the gear eventually malfunctioned and took him over the top causing him to do a complete flip he regained his balance and slowed down his decent to land safely. "impressive... just like your father that's a 198..." Cody ignored the comment and walked back in line next to Saturi and Crane. Ace was next and he didn't seem to control that well, the instructor had given him a broken waist band to see if he was as skilled as his father. "w-woah!" Ace came down slamming his face on the ground unconscious. "Well that was... interesting..." majority of the trainees began to laugh at him but as few were worried for his safety.
Alright Aisarah you're up Aisarah walked over to the training area and looked at the gear. "hmmm..." Crane nudged Cody "she's pretty hot huh?" Cody looked over with a puzzled look "she looks like she'd become a crazy cat lady..." Crane laughed as he turned his attention back to Aisarah. "Oh she's doing pretty good" Aisarah kept herself balanced and swayed back and forth with ease. "hmm you're right she is doing pretty good..." Saturi admired her form as she got down recieving a score of 187. Cody nodded his head in approval as Saturi's name was called. Saturi stepped up as the gear was positioned on her, she gave Cody and Crane a thumbs up as she was hoisted up, she managed to keep her balance fairly easily, as they brought her back down she attempted to place her foot on the ground but missed freaking out she flipped up and hung upside down. Trainees began to laugh as she was taken off of the gear "you need to work on your landing Saturi" Cody looked at her a bit disappointed."yeah sorry... I wish I could be as good as you..." Crane walked over to the training area where the gear was put onto him. He kept his balance perfectly and looked completely relaxed, he seemed to use no effort at all as he swayed back and forth on the gear. The instructor had him brought down and gave him a maximum score of 200. Cody looked away as Crane came back bragging.
Amara stepped up to the gear swaying back and forth with little effort but she was still a bit wobbly. She got a score of 132 she walked back to Christa who was next. Cody watched her closely, he was sure he knew her from somewhere, she looked over to him meeting eyes, she looked down and blushed slightly as she was hoisted up. She began to swing back and forth but she was really wobbly she closed her eyes when she thought she would flip over and hit the ground but she was brought down receiving a score of 99. Next was Lucy, she managed to keep her balance and not wobble, however she did not sway or swing so she got a score of about 120. It was quite clear their were some very capable soldiers here. Brando, Ken, and Curt were the last to go, Ken was the first to go he put the gear onto his waist as he was hoisted up. Ken smirked "this is ea-SSYYYYYYY!" Ken lost his balance and flipped over hanging upside down, his gear had no malfunctions, he just couldn't keep himself upright.
Curt was next, he kept a straight face while he swung back and forth and swayed left to right. He kept his balance fairly well but lost his balance a little as he was lowered, he landed on his feet and received a score of 165. Brando was last he was hoisted up slowly, he wobbled slightly but then repositioned his legs and kept his balance, he began to sway left and right before he was brought down, he received a score of 179. "Alright maggots I hope you're all ready for tomorrow... because tomorrow is the soldier vs soldier training, you'll be fighting eachother! the rest of the day is yours to do as you please." Cody, Saturi, and Crane branched off with a group of trainees while Ace, Jay, Mike, Ken, Brando, and Curt stuck together.
