"Hey, Blake?"

"Hey, Mia." Blake began on the other end of the phone. "Sorry I can't really talk right now. I'm about to head out with Molly. I'm taking her to Hollywood for the day!"

"That's great, Blake but I really need to talk to you about -"

"Can it wait 'til later? I'm already late." Blake interrupted.

I paused for a moment as I heard Blake rummaging for his car keys on the other end of the line. "Sure. Have fun."

Blake was mid way through saying "thanks" when I hung up the phone, threw it onto the floor and flopped onto my bed. Blake had no time to talk to me. Blake always had time to talk to me and help me. Blake was gone to Hollywood with Molly. Blake was going on a date with Molly. I missed Blake. I needed Blake Woods.

Just then, I heard a soft knock on my bedroom door. "Come in." I called.

James' soft face peered through the door. "Is it okay if I come in?"

"Oh. Hi James. Sure, come in." I replied timidly, sitting up on the bed. "What's up?"

"I just thought that wasn't the best introduction yesterday for us. I know this must really suck for you. You probably don't really want to get to know me but I thought maybe it'd be nice to just chat." James stood shyly next to my door.

"I don't really think I can right now. I sort of have a lot going on right now I need to sort some stuff out." I said sluggishly, rubbing my forehead. "Some other time though. Okay?"

"Oh, okay. Sure." James stuttered. "I'll see you later then. Me, dad and your mom were thinking of going to the park later if you wanna come?"

"Thanks, but I don't think I can today." I replied, shyly. "Have fun though."

"Sure. See you later then." James slid out of my room and I heard his footsteps trail down the hall.

I felt kind of bad about being so dismissive of James, but I really didn't want to deal with happy families right now.

I slid off my bed slowly and headed into my wardrobe to change into my loosest pair of Victoria's Secret bottoms and a Superdry hoodie. I declared this day as a complete lazy day. This time though, I wouldn't be interrupted by Molly's crazy freaky boyfriend.

This was because Molly's new boyfriend was Blake, and I knew he was way to caught up with her to pay any attention to me.

I couldn't help but think, as I tied up my hair, if Blake would call me back later. He told me he'd talk to me about what I wanted to say later. Would he even talk to me about it later? Would he talk to me about it at all? We were finished our tutoring sessions now, so it's not like we had two hours every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday to spend together against our own will.

Did Blake even care?

All I knew was I cared about Blake, and my feelings towards him were getting even stronger. I didn't know whether I liked it or not. Even though I felt horrible that he was with Molly, I still had hope for Blake and me.

Just as I was about to pick my first movie for the day, when Stephen came bursting through the door.

"I'm here, and I brought Indian food!" He sang as he closed the door behind him.
