[Noah's P.O.V.]

Fifteen minutes before Clark is meant to pick me up for our date, I go to my bathroom to put on some makeup.

I apply a light pink lip stain and put on some mascara and eyeliner. I do a thin line of eyeliner on my top and bottom waterline. I debate on whether or not I should use any blush, but decide not too.

Once I'm done with that I straighten my skirt and walk to the living room.

When I get into the living room I giggle quietly. My dad is standing in front of the tv, using its reflection to look at himself and combing his hair back.

"Daddy, your hair looks fine." I say and he jumps in surprise.

He clears his throat. "Thanks, Noah. I'm gonna go now, you be safe. Call me if you need anything."

"I will." I respond and give him a hug and a peck on the cheeks. "Go get 'em, tiger." I say with an exaggerated wink.

He shakes his head and grabs his keys off the counter. When he opens the front door Clark is standing there with his fist in the air, ready to knock.

"Hi, Clark!" I say from behind my dad.

"You be good to my son now, Clark. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen." My dad threatens before leaving.

Once he's gone I go up to Clark and wrap him in a quick hug. I pull back blushing.

"So where are we going?" I question once we're inside of his car.

"Uh, well," Clark starts," totally clique and boring, but I was thinking dinner and a movie."

"That sounds great, Clark. As long as I'm with you, I'm sure whatever we do will be amazing." I say honestly. He glances at me with a small smile.

"Well, aren't you just extra cheesy today?" He asks playfully.

"We'll eat dinner first and then see the movie, if that's okay." He adds.

"Yeah, that's fine." I answer.

The rest of the ride is silent, but it's a nice, comfortable silence.

Clark pulls into a parking lot in front of a small restaurant. After he turns the car off he gets out and runs to my side to open the door for me.

"Thank you." I say as I get out of the car.

We walk up to the restaurant holding hands and Clark finally lets go when he get to the door. He pulls open the door and motions for me to enter, so I do.

I look around and the place is pretty full.

"I hope we don't see my dad tonight." I say to Clark as a waiter take us to a booth.

"He's on a date tonight as well." I state after Clark sits down.

"Oh, who's the lucky lady?" He asks.

"Uh, I'm not sure." I answer and now I feel bad for not acting more interested. I should have asked about her.

"You haven't told me much about your mom..." Clark trails off.

"I guess I don't really like to talk about her. She really changed when I came out." I remark.

"Ah." Clark says and nods his head understandingly.

"Do your parents know you're...whatever it is you are?" I question, hesitantly.

"Well I've never actually come out to them, but they do know that I have dated boys and girls." Clark says with a shrug.

"I'm pansexual, by the way." Clark adds after a second.

"Oh okay." I say nodding.

When the waiter comes and takes our orders Clark gets a small steak and I get the seafood platter. It has grilled shrimp, and I love shrimp.

Me and Clark chat a bit while we eat and I take the time to try to learn more about him.

"So when did you start living alone?" I ask him.

"Well," he starts, "when I was sixteen they were never home, but it became official when I was seventeen."

"Oh, okay. How old are you?" I ask.

"I'm eighteen and you're seventeen, right?" Clark asks and I nod my head.

"You could probably pass for being fifteen with your tiny build." Clark teases with a smile. I smile and shake my head slightly.

"I don't think so. What fifteen year old has muscles like these?" I ask, holding up my arm and flexing. This causes Clark to laugh uncontrollably.

"What muscles?" He asks between laughs.

"Hey! I spent a lot of time working out to get these!" I say indignantly with a frown. Clark stops laughing and looks at me cautiously.

"Oh. Are you being serious...?" He asks.

"Yes!" I exclaim and try to keep a straight face.

"Oh gosh," he sputters, "I'm so, so sorry."

This sends me in a fit of giggles. He's blushing! Oh my goodness, he's so cute. I glance at his face and he's looking at me with narrowed eyes.

"You were kidding, weren't you?" He asks and crosses his arms over his chest.

"Yes! And you really believed me!" I exclaim when I calm down.

"Yeah, you got me good." He says, nodding with a smile.

After that we finish eating and Clark pays before we leave. When we get to the theater there aren't any good movies playing.

"Nothing looks very good, I'm sorry." Clark states with a frown as he scans the playing movies.

"That's fine. If you want, we can go watch a movie at my house." I offer, not wanting the date to end so soon.

"Sounds good." Clark says with a smile.

He takes us to my house and we decide to watch Now You See Me. Clark hasn't seen it yet and I'm really glad he hasn't. I can't wait to see his face at the plot twist. I love this movie so much.

Me and Clark spend the rest of the night snuggled up on my couch, watching the movie.

I couldn't have asked for a better date.
