Aiko's POV
I was running to the sand village, but I think I got lost. For a desert it sure does rain a lot. The Jonin behind me tell me we should stop and we were lost, but I ignored them. We eventually stop in a village and ask for directions to the sand village. It turns out we were in the land of waves. My team stopped near a waterfall for a break. In the corner of my eye I see a man in a black cloak with red clouds. I didn't care that he was clearly an Akatsuki, but I did care that he looked exactly like my brother Kai. It couldn't be Kai though, he's been dead for years. I get up to follow him and a Jonin grabs my arm. He says "Aiko, where do you think you're going?"
I reply "Just on a walk."
He said "Not on your own! Your practically a prisoner."
I reply "So what do I care? If I am a prisoner then you guys are the worst cops, because I've been running free this whole time. Now if you don't mind, I'm leaving."
He yells back "Aiko! If you leave we will be forced to take action, and you will die."
I ask him "Is that a threat?"
He responds "No, it's a promise."
I say " Ok." And with that I disappear in a plume of smoke. I run in the direction of the man and I find him. I call out "Kai?" He looks up and says "Aiko?" I run forward and scream "Kai! What happened? I thought you were dead!" He pats me on the head and says "It's nice to see you again Aiko, but you should leave. If you're seen with me you will be in serious trouble."
I say "I already am." And I retell the events of the last year.
He says "That's great! I raised you well!" The Jonin shows up and yells "Aiko!" And Kai disappears. The Jonin continues "Ah ha! Caught you aiding the enemy! You are in so much trouble!" And they drag me back to Konoha.
Meanwhile at the Akatsuki base
Kai announces "We need to move base. We have been discovered by Konoha. Luckily we can trust the person who found us, but it is a matter of time before they force information out of her."
Itachi asks "Where do you propose we go."
Kai responds "I know a place, but first I'm taking a detour."
Itachi asks "Detour? Where to?"
Kai responds "Konoha!"
