Ryu turned towards the rock wall and it disintegrated. He marched forwards and was cloaked in a dark energy. Dark tendrils reached off his body searching for heat, life, joy. Their only purpose was to snuff those things out. He continued marching down the caves frost forming under footsteps and whenever someone ran up to stop him they would stop dead in their tracks and died when they touched the dark aura. Those were the lucky ones. The ones Ryu grabbed hold of would scream as their soul was violently ripped from their body and stored in Ryu's chakra reserves for eternal punishment. He roared again and rose off the ground and spread death to the soldiers, and yet it wasn't enough. He tore across the base one room at a time until he could find Orichimaru. Then Sasuke walked into the corridor. Ryu charged forwards, but didn't want to kill him. He wanted answers. The dark aura reached out and Ryu had to stop them. Some how the aura echoed a voice across the room. It said "Leave now! But first tell me what you know about the Akatsuki!" Sasuke looked up horrified and yelled "Ryu? Is that you?"
The aura yelled "Answer my demands now, before you suffer eternal punishment!" Sasuke stuttered "Th-they have a-a base in Otagakure. After r-recruiting new members they m-moved their base there." He fled the area as soon as possible. Ryu marched on killing thousands without batting an eye. He came across Orichimaru and punched him in the gut. His fist went straight through, and Orichimaru gaped in horror before dissolving. The aura faded and Ryu grabbed Charlie's arm before fainting.
Ryu woke up a few days later. Charlie staring at him. He was crying. He got up and ran into the snowy woods. Ryu got up and followed him into a clearing. Charlie looked at him and yelled "How could you? How could you let Matt die? I hate you! This is all your fault!" Ryu's eyes brimmed with tears and they glowed red. Ryu looked at Charlie and said coldly, "No, Charlie this was all your fault!" And then Ryu disappeared into the shadows.
