"Y-yah Kim Eunseo." I turned towards the sound. I frowned as I saw the face of the person becoming clearer as she walked towards me. "Hyesung." I muttered, "What are you doing here?" She bowed her head,"To...to apologise." I looked at her as she lifted her head back up. We exchanged gazes for a while. In her eyes I didn't see the Hyesung that tried to bully me, that betrayed me, but the Hyesung that remembered the foods I didn't eat, the Hyesung that would ask me what happened if she saw my face expression different from the day before. The Hyesung that was my best friend.
"I really am sorry. I know you lack a sense of security, and I am really sorry for keeping all those things from you, and sorry for bullying you even though I knew you were having a really hard time then. I'm really sorry for...liking your first love. Really. I'm such a bad friend. I came here to apologise, and if you don't want to forgive me, I understand. Just...just sorry." Hyesung's eyes were filled with tears and as she finished her last sentence, she turned around and was about to open the door.
"Wait!" I said. She turned around and looked at me, her fair cheeks already stained with tears. "I-i forgive you, Hyesung ah. I knew you felt bad, I saw it from your eyes then. And...I shouldn't have exaggerated like that. Sorry. I...shouldn't have gave you up as a best friend. Can...can we become best friends again?" I teared up and bit my bottom lip, waiting anxiously for her reply.
"Eunseo ah..." Hyesung smiled happily as she walked towards me, with her arms wide open. I smiled widely, and as my eyes fluttered a little shut, the tears in my eyes dropped out. I hugged her tight, wishing that we had never let go. We finally separated and we looked at each other,"Nice to have you back, bro." We fists bumped each other, just like before...
Back to the present...
Hyesung, Jooeun and I walked hand in hand to the cafeteria, with the whole group of boys behind us. It felt great to have the three of us together. I looked at the three boys right behind us... Wonwoo oppa, Mingyu oppa and Woozi oppa... What a height difference. I sniggered to myself as I faced my besties again.
"Oh yes, where's the two bitches? I haven't seen them around all day? Haven't they found out that you're dating their 'boy'?" I rolled my eyes and waved my hand sarcastically, asking Hyesung. She smirked,"They left, I may or may nof have slapped some sense into them... And I may or may not have gotten rid of your so-called fan." Jooeun and I exchanged looks. What? "What fan? I didn't know I had one." Hyesung linked arms with us as she dragged us along,"Explanations in the cafeteria~~" I furrowed my eyebrows. Weird a.f?
